What is the Grid?
The planetary grid map (image above) is claimed to be a representation of etheric lines or ley lines that cover the planet. The lines were first mapped out by Russian engineers and first published in English by Christopher Bird in the early 1970s.
I’ve heard vastly different things about these lines.
1. Flying Saucer Flight Paths
A book from the early 70s by engineer and air force pilot Bruce Cathie claims that these are the lines UFOs travel along. As an air force pilot he claims to have mapped the flight paths of flying saucers and they always follow the same.
2. Demonic Streets
I’ve read Christian authors who claim ley lines are travel paths for demons.
3. Astral Streets
I’ve read occultists claiming the same, but they call them astrals and spirits. Thus, ritual magick that summons spirits must supposedly be performed along these lines.
4. Grids of Atlantis or Tartaria
Others have written that the grid offers an opportunity to harvest free energy, free travel or even teleportation. The medium Edgar Cayce claimed that super-speed travel in ancient Atlantis was along a planetary crystal grid. Alt-History researchers say that cities and towers were built to harness the atmospheric energy from the grid.
5. Tools for Psychotronic Mind Control
Conspiracy theorists have alleged that the grid is used for psychotronic mind control with extra-low-frequency weapons.
It’s been difficult for me to reconcile these vastly different interpretations. Needless to say, “mainstream science” says none of the above exists.
St. Michael’s Line
This is Saint Michael’s Line, a straight line spanning Ireland, France, Italy, Greece and Israel on which there are famous but hard to access Cathedrals and Monasteries dedicated to Archangel Michael. The chances of this being a coincidence? Zero.
But what does it mean? And why is this line not part of the planetary grid I just showed? I’ve been skeptical of grid models because it seems like every other author has their own grid system which doesn’t match the others. Are we looking at deliberate obfuscation? Ignorance? Angel lines vs. Demon lines?
The Chartres Line
According to a book “The Mysteries of Chartres Cathedral” a “telluric line” passes through the center of the Church, energizing the place and causing upliftment in visitors. But unless I’m missing something, the Chartres line has little to do with the planetary grid shown above.
The Cathedral is laid out in a north-eastern direction rather than the traditional east, said to align with the rising sun when facing the altar. Researchers do claim a connection to the planetary grid posited by the Russian researchers as you can see in the image above. They simply suggest equidistant lines within the major ones. We see that the planetary grid lines all go from northeast to southwest and Chartres is said to align with this movement precisely.
The Street Orientation of Cities
I am reminded of how the street layout of most cities is aligned north, but some are indeed aligned northeast.

Could this point toward a city planning more deliberate than we are told? Could it point to some cities being aligned with the north pole while others are aligned with the geomagnetic pole or the north pole before the cataclysm?
Vile Vortices
This quote is ascribed to Plato: “The earth, viewed from above, resembles a ball sewn from twelve pieces of skin.” What does this comment mean? How would Plato, if he actually existed, know what the Earth looks like from above?
This is the “world power grid” consisting of 12 areas, according to anomalies researcher Ivan Sanderson. According to him, the dots represent “vile vortices”, places of electromagnetic disturbance. They include the infamous “Bermuda Triangle” and “The Devil’s Sea” near Japan, where planes and ships have been said to go missing.
Let’s compare this map to the planetary grid map:
We can see that Ivan Sanderson’s map aligns with the Planetary Grid System as proposed by Christopher Bird, the Russian researchers and Becker-Hagens. It’s a match! Finally some alignment! Sanderson created his map in the 1960s at a time when the planetary grid map was not yet public, so this is an interesting non-coincidence. Sanderson was not researching ley lines but rather amassing data on disappearances. He posited potential time-warps at these locations.
The 12 “vile vortices” of Sanderson are: The Bermuda Triangle, Easter Island, the North Pole, The South Pole, Karachi, Hamakua, The Devil’s Triangle, The Wharton Basin, the New Hebrides Trench, The Megaliths of Algeria, The South Atlantic Anomaly and The Megaliths of Zimbabwe.
The Earth as a Crystal
Researcher Christopher Bird wrote in 1975 that “Nikolai Goncharov, a Muscovite historian enthralled by the ancient world. . marked on a globe all the centers of earliest human culture. Somewhere within him an ‘intuitive impulse suggested there might be a pattern, a geometric regularity, behind their genesis”. and “The story suggested that far from being a simple spheroid, our globe started out as a crystal with angular dimensions”.
“It was only after Goncharov met Vyacheslav Morozov, a construction engineer, and Valery Makarov, a specialist in electronics, that his vague impulse became first a suspicion, then a hypothesis. After several years work it appeared in ‘Khimiya i Zhizn’ (Chemistry and Life), the popular science journal of the USSR Academy of Sciences under the title ‘Is the Earth a Large Crystal?’
“The main thrust of the article, based on studies made by the three collaborators of data taken from fields as widely separated as archaeology, ornithology, geochemistry and meteorology, was the suggestion that the earth projects from within itself to the surface a dual geometrically regularized grid. The first part of this grid forms twelve pentagonal slabs over the sphere from which evidence the research triumvirate suggested that the first shape of the earth had just such an outline. In other words it was a dodecahedron”
Inspired by this, some researchers have tried linking ancient pyramids and megalithic sites with the node points of the grid:
Researchers have said that the entire Universe was created according to the “five platonic solids” which correspond to the Elements earth, water, fire, air and ether.
The basis of Earth’s creation, before earth, water, fire and air were added, is ether, which is corresponds to the Dodecahedron, which corresponds to the planetary grid. It’s the template from which Earth was made. It is said that Earth started as a crystal. As it moved through space, matter was accumulated.
The Flower of Life
As if to add to the confusion, some researchers say that the Mercator projection map is inaccurate and creates slight distortions. Some have suggested that the Earth actually looks the so-called Azimuthal projection:

This grid shape happens to correspond with the proposed “International Flag of Earth”, designed in 2015 and promoted by various organizations:
The Azimuthl projection of Earth is promoted by “Flat Earthers”. I have no opinion on the shape of Earth (I’ll let you know once I’ve flown at extremely high altitude), but I’d like to add that this shape of Earth would also be possible on a globe if the globe was vastly larger than we are told (see previous articles).
Energy Nodes
These are the exact coordinates of the energy-nodes. Expect to find anomalies at each of these locations.
Tunguska
I randomly looked up one of these coordinates, Nr. 4 near lake Baykal. To my surprise the location was right at Tunguska.
I recalled the 1908 Tunguska event – the largest explosion in History. The 15 megaton explosion (according to Encyclopedia Brittanica) flattened 80 Million trees over a distance of 2150 kilometres (830 miles). It was 15 times more powerful than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima. The blast was witnessed by people 800 km (500 miles) away. They witnessed a fireball, shaking ground and winds strong enough to throw people through the air. They said it was a meteorite – but was it really? There was no impact crater (according to Brittanica, even though online pictures show a crater). The night-skies were brightly lit for several days across Russia and Europe. What kind of “meteorite” does that? They said it was in a sparsely populated area with nothing but woods – is that true? Old maps of Siberia show the ice-free, forgotten Kingdom of Tartaria, several cities that no longer exist today, names of regions long gone and even gigantic Pyramids. Was the Tunguska event the last bomb in a war that has been wiped from our memory? If something happens once and not again, it’s not likely to be a natural event.
Or was this event facilitated by the natural energy node at exactly that location? Was the node used to expand the explosion?
Despite hundreds of books and articles I have not been able to verify or reconcile all the different theories about the grid. My intuitive sense is that the grid may have at one time been set up by the benevolent maker of this realm. Following cataclysmic changes to the Earth and it’s axis, the grid is now distorted and disturbed and possibly used for less benevolent purposes.
Magnetic Alignment
I’ve speculated that the Earth wobbled of it’s axis in some ancient event. Perhaps this is why the North Pole and the Geomagnetic Pole are not at the same place.
As written previously, I believe the human body IS a bi-polar magnet and was created to align with the Earth’s magnetic north and south pole but everything is tilted slightly off axis. A Sufi Dervish holds one hand to the south and one to the north, slightly tilting his head to the side, exactly mimicking the relation of the body to the magnetic North. And then the body spins to mimic the Earth’s spin. The dervish is “being the magnet” and “being the axis of the Earth”.
I believe that the human body is a circuit and the earth is also a circuit. What is a circuit? A closed loop along which energy travels. One day human beings will remember who they are and how they are connected to everything else, via the circuit. Some say that the planetary grid is this circuit and that it’s aligned with the stars we see in the sky. This is why some ancient sites, such as Giza, appear to be laid out in the exact pattern of certain stars. They call the planetary grid the “Kathara Grid” and say that the “Tree of Life” from Kaballah is a representation of it.
I’ve seen people go to great effort to “align” with the grid or teach that “activating it” is a key to human ascension. There are even exercises to align one’s own magnetic field with that of earth or the wider universe. It involves going to “places of power”, taking in specific body postures at certain times of the day and so forth. I have not practiced or followed any of these because they are not necessary in my experience. At this point we don’t even know exactly what the grid is and whether it’s even desirable to “align” with it. As interesting as the topic is, I’ve filed it in the drawer of my mind titled “more research needed”.
