I saw the house I live in now, 20 years before I moved in.
It flashed through my awareness on walks, in dreams, and “memories”, accompanied by a sense of awe and mystery.
I’d mislabel it a retreat center of a University Campus. Maybe because the lawns were clean-cut (because of the HOA). Or because young people walked the street (these are my neighbors). It was on a mountain in the woods. I saw the exact color of the house. Back then it was not the kind of color house I would buy so I didn’t believe it would be mine.
I didn’t know where these thought-snippets came from. Another life? A buried memory? It turns out they came from “the future”. I describe this phenomenon in detail in my book “Time Travel”. That book was written long before I moved into this house, otherwise I’d have included this latest example.
I bought the house online, without even seeing it live. The realtor was puzzled. My wife was puzzled. Everyone was puzzled. Who buys a house without visiting, inspecting it, like a cart-item on amazon?
I did it because I intuitively know it’s my destiny to live there. Even without remembering the predictive visions, I knew it, “just felt” it.
Even after I moved in, I wasn’t aware I’d been seeing the house for 20 years. Why? Because the remote-viewing-into-the-future was felt with a sense of awe and mystery, but actually living in the place felt normal. Pleasant but normal.
The sense of awe and mystery does not come from the place itself but from the act of extending consciousness through time and space.
I made the connection between the old visions and current reality one morning while taking a walk in the fog. There’s something about fog that inspires a sense of awe and mystery. Then, in the appropriate STATE, I remembered. Remembering produced chills.
I had labeled the visions “some mysterious university campus retreat center from a buried memory” but it was really just “the house I live in some day”.
