It only takes about 10 to 30 minutes a week to live a life created by you.
Every Sunday morning I write my list of intentions for the week and beyond. Then I voice the intentions. Some are voiced as monologues or detailed descriptions of preferred outcomes, some as commands and those where I feel they are not fully under my control are voiced as prayers.
My list is in a word-file. In each new week I check which Intentions have manifested and which haven’t. The manifested ones get black font, those that haven’t yet manifested get red font. New additions to the list get blue font. My reason for keeping already-manifested intentions on the list for some time is to maintain a sense of gratitude over things already received instead of only focusing on what’s lacking. About once a month I make a new list and purge the already-manifest.
Items that haven’t yet manifested are either included in the new session or, if they’re no longer of interest, removed. The intentions are voiced with authority and confidence and with a quiet mind – there are no considerations on the how, when, where during the session.
Items may manifest without your doing, or an idea or path of action may open up. They may manifest miraculously, or additional effort may be needed.
My personal intentions are sandwiched between praising my Creator at the beginning of the session (this creates context) and intending or praying for other people at the end of the session. The purpose of this is to humble the Ego.
With deliberate intention, things don’t happen to you, they happen through you.
