Student: “I dread going back to work Monday morning”
Response:
You NEVER have to go back to that work again. You can walk away from it forever. Nobody is enslaving you except yourself. Choose to walk away and you have instantly freed yourself.
Doing things you don’t like “to make money” never gets you much money because a person who prostitutes themselves aren’t radiating an abundant mindset.
If you can guide your inner state and avoid going into fear and self-doubt, being jobless while looking for the right vocation can make you extremely
resourceful,
creative and
active.
And those are good things, not things to fear. It’s better being jobless but HUSTLING than staying with an activity you despise out of fear of going poor. If you do that, you’re already poor because you are denying your true nature.
Walk away from work that sucks out your spirit.
“But what should I do?”
“But how will I survive?”
You’ll come up with something once you take that step.
A radically courageous person
doesn’t need everything handed to him or her on a golden plate. Your soul, your essence is quite fine with uncertainty. When you walk away from the familiar, from the pacifier, you can discover just how powerful you are. If I’m really this awesome, majestically, divinely created being, I should be able to come up with something.
