Here’s an example of using a symbol to change your reality:
You could imagine an old, shabby house that’s almost falling apart. It’s moldy, rusty and the windows are broken. You could declare that this old house symbolizes all of your difficulties at the moment. ‘
So instead of having to deal with each problem separately, you could tell your subconscious that this house equals the entire burden you’re currently facing.
Then you can imagine the house burning down until it’s all ashes. And the ashes being removed. And new grass and flowers growing where the house once stood.
And then you imagine building a beautiful new house. You tell your subconscious that this house symbolizes your new, preferred reality. Using your imagination, put loving detail into it, take your time here. A few seconds won’t impress your subconscious, how about a few minutes.
Once it’s done you admire it, knowing it now stands completed.
You’d repeat this on consecutive days or until you experience the change you were looking for. If you’re the type who thinks visualizing is difficult you can also do this by describing the old house and what it symbolizes and then the new house and what it symbolizes.
Your subconscious thinks in images and symbols and is there to help you take the right actions and perceive the opportunities that lead you where you prefer to go.
A symbolic representation is sometimes better than the actual thing because it bypasses the doubting, over-thinking, censoring mind.
I have just uploaded a guided-meditation variation of this to the “Member Videos” section of my website. Enjoy!
