When I say you have power, what I really mean is that you can is that you can
Start something.
Stop something.
Change something.
You can start talking, stop talking and change your talk. You can start acting on something, stop acting on it or change how you act on it.
You can start a project, stop it, change it. You can start a relationship, stop it and change it. You can start an event, stop it or change it midway. You can start giving, stop giving or change what you give. You can start singing, stop singing or change what you sing.
Etc.
By this you can also determine the limits of your power.
Can I jump from a skyscraper and fly? No, not at this time. Can I lift a ship with telekinesis? No. I’d have to change who-I-am or my domain-of-power before I can do that.
Can I stop the bad weather? Maybe. I believe I’ve done this a few times, through intense intention.
Can I stop people from dying? Maybe, sometimes, through healing practices. But if it’s their time or their intention (conscious or subconscious), I can’t stop it.
There are real limitations and mental limitations. Most people respect real limitations such as those of age (but even here some are trying to push beyond the limits). But mental limitations are numerous. In my work I often meet people who act like they can’t start, stop or change things that they obviously COULD and then list a number of excuses why they “can’t”. Excuses far outweigh conscious decisions in this world.
Researchers estimate that a person makes around 40 Million Decisions a day. Not conscious decisions, which are few and far between. Most decisions are on automatic. This is why it can APPEAR as if you don’t have the power to start, stop or change a thing.
But if you slow down a little, instead of living reflexively, if you become a little more conscious, you’ll discover all the things you can consciously start, stop or change. And as the number of your conscious-decisions grow, so does your power.
