Was Bitcoin created by the CIA?

We know that the U.S. Department of Defense created the Internet. Years ago, I also wrote about how the Pentagon created Facebook. I wrote about this on my Blog as early as 2008. I hinted about it again, in a Video I shared in 2013 and then again, in my book “Essays in Creating Reality Part 2” in 2018. We also know that Google was funded by the CIA/NSA with grants for mass surveillance. Moreover, the CIA is intimately entangled with Amazon. The question is: Is there any major Internet Company that this Octopus does not have its tentacles on?

And knowing all this, it’s not far-fetched to ask, whether Bitcoin is not also a CIA creation.

As a full-time success-coach over the last 30 years,  I’ve been skeptical of those particular “American Dream” Success-Stories, which had some nerd working from a Garage and then rapidly jumping to #1 global market dominance, with no competition far and wide. With thousands of other people working on similar projects, that’s not how genuine, no-strings-attaches success works for real people. These phony “success stories” that are taught in every other corporate motivational seminar, are a disservice to people seeking true success in their own Business. They paint a distorted image of what it means to be successful (for a better idea of genuine success, my book “Success Attracts Success“). Success-Seekers would compare themselves to people like Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, who are funded by the vast wealth of the U.S. Intelligence and have little to do with genuine free market entrepreneurs. That’s why, I downplayed these alleged “success stories” in favor of genuine stories of success by people of every day life.

The following is quoted from this article: The CIA secretly owned Crypto AG, did they secretly create bitcoin?

“It was the intelligence coup of the century.” That’s the assessment of the CIA in a classified report obtained earlier this month by an investigation of the Washington Post. The Post made stunning revelations in a report headlined, “How the CIA used Crypto AG encryption devices to spy on countries for decades.” Crypto AG was a Swiss encryption company. It made millions of dollars since World War II selling encryption devices. The governments of over 120 countries bought Crypto’s devices well into the 21st century.

But the Washington Post made the stunning revelation in early Feb 2020 that the information security company was secretly owned by the CIA. And the Central Intelligence Agency had built back doors into the encryption methods so it could easily decode messages and spy on foreign governments’ most sensitive communications. Governments the world over trusted Crypto AG to encrypt communications for their military, diplomats, and spies. Among Crypto AG’s clientele were Iran, military dictatorships in Latin America, India, Pakistan, and the Vatican.

From 1970 forward, most of the world’s governments were unwittingly handing the CIA their money and also their secrets. These revelations about this stunning and audacious CIA signals intelligence operation beg the question: Did the CIA create cryptocurrency? We still don’t know who invented Bitcoin. Its creator has remained anonymous to this day. The inventor of Bitcoin published the Bitcoin whitepaper under the pseudonym, Satoshi Nakamoto. And they posted to the Bitcoin Talk forum under that moniker. Could Satoshi Nakamoto be the Central Intelligence Agency?

There’s no conclusive evidence of who Satoshi Nakamoto really is. That remains a mystery to this day as far as the public is concerned…

The following evidence that Satoshi Nakamoto might be the CIA is circumstantial, and the conclusion is speculative. But if it’s not compelling, this evidence is certainly captivating. And the Crypto AG revelations show just how plausible it is that the CIA could have created Bitcoin as part of the monetary coup of the century.

To begin with, Bitcoin is based on technology created by the National Security Agency (NSA). The NSA’s Secure Hashing Algorithm 256 (SHA-256) is a lynchpin of Bitcoin Core, the software that turns a computer into a Bitcoin node. SHA-256 is a one-way hashing function that compresses and encrypts a string of any length into a unique 256-bit signature or hash. The original string cannot be determined from the hash. And it’s impossible to guess what SHA-256’s output will be for any given input. So it’s functionally random. You can enter Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address into it and get one hash, then change a single letter and enter it again and get an entirely different hash.

None of this proves the CIA created Bitcoin. The NSA published SHA-256 in 2001. So non-CIA coders could have taken it up and used it to make Bitcoin. But after Crypto AG, it does make one wonder if there’s some kind of back door into SHA-256. Perhaps more incriminating is the meaning of the name Satoshi Nakamoto in Japanese. Nakamoto actually means “Central” or “Middle.” Satoshi means “Enlightened,” “Wise,” or “Intelligent.” These are facts. Satoshi Nakamoto means Central Intelligence. That could be a joke by its non-CIA creators, or it could be the CIA’s calling card”.

The idea that Bitcoin is a CIA operation has also been promoted by companies that are linked to Russian Intelligence Services (no doubt to distract from their own Cryptocurrencies and clandestine operations). Quoted from another article:

“BITCOIN was created by US intelligence services to send untraceable funding to top-secret international CIA and MI5 missions…
The shocking claim from a cybersecurity expert was made public after slides from her presentation in Russia were photographed and shared on social media.

One of Natalya Kaspersky’s slides said: “Bitcoin is a project of American intelligence agencies, which was designed to provide quick funding for US, British and Canadian intelligence activities in different countries.

The slides were photographed during Ms Kaspersky’s talk at ITMP University in St Petersburg.

In the talk she also claimed that Satoshi Nakamoto, who is credited with creating the currency, was in fact the codename for a collective of US cryptographers…

“The technology is ‘privatised,’ just like the Internet, GPS and TOR. In fact, it is dollar 2.0. Its rate is controlled by the owners of exchanges.”

And another article here:

“The founder of the world’s second-biggest cryptocurrency has claimed US intelligence services may have played a role in the creation of Bitcoin. At the beginning of his career Vitalik Buterin, the Russian-born creator of Ethereum, suggested the National Security Agency (NSA) might have been involved in the development of the virtual currency”.

Buterin later retracted the statement, after he came under public presssure. The CIA, meanwhile, say that they can “neither confirm nor deny” the claim.

This article makes no judgement on whether to use Bitcoin. I have not written it to dissuade from cryptocurrency. I acknowledge its usefulness. Anyone using the Internet is using some tool or spin-off of an American, Russian or Chinese Spy Agency. I wrote this in my Identity as a success-coach, to highlight that many of these companies don’t grow massively popular out of nothing. As an Ontologist, it is also my duty to note that the entire Internet is probably a mass surveillance tool and may even have been intended as such. Such a tool would only be madly popular if it brought us plenty of benefit, and it has. The goal of mass surveillance? To have a comprehensive database on everything and everyone. For what purpose? Knowledge, Control and Money…the usual joyless pursuits of the Ego.

Generally speaking, the reach and power of agencies like the CIA (and its Russian and Chinese counterparts), have gotten out of hand long ago, so that they can no longer said to be “serving the people” (if they ever have), but mostly serving themselves. In 1964, John F. Kennedy said that he’d like to “splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds”. Three months later he was shot.

Even so, it’s never too late for citizens to take their power back. For that, they first have to realize, where power was given away – to which this article contributes a small part.

How to Create an Unstoppable Team

This article is written for team leaders, group leaders, sports-team-coaches and heads of department, containing some takeaways from 30 years of coaching with companies.

At the most ineffective level, teammates are scheming against each other. They are slow to realize that they’re on the same team. Why is their competitiveness directed at members their own team? As a team leader, it’s your job to get jealous teammates to stop playing games, gossiping, complaining and talking behind others backs and re-direct their attention to a common goal. If they are unwilling to do that, they need to taught rules of conduct. If they ignore those rules, they need to be removed from the team.

At the next level, teammates don’t put others down, they try to gain their approval. Just like at the previous level, they are preoccupied with others instead of being dedicated to the common goal. A person at this stage, needs to be given space to express their unique talents and skills without worry whether teammates will approve or not. Too much “approvalitis” causes inauthentic behavior, and trying to “fit in” is not the same thing as being an effective part of the team. Teamwork does not mean losing individuality, it means putting your unique individuality in service of a common goal. A team leader should detect the approval-seeker early on and either get them to mature, or remove them from the team.

At the next higher level, the team member looks at more successful teammates and imitates them. This doesn’t come from approval-seeking but from genuine admiration. A team-leader who wants to get a newcomer to this level, says “Just watch and learn from the experienced ones“. That’s good advice when you are new to a team. But it’s not enough. After some time, you’ll want to contribute. Once you become more confident, you move up the scale. But some remain at this level, even though they are no longer newcomers. As a team-leader, you ought to identify these people and asked them to step up and take more responsibility instead of just admiring others doing the heavy lifting.

A team member has reached a positive level, when their heart is focused on the teams goal. They feel a sense of purpose within themselves and their work is fun and delivers results for the group. When every team member is focused on the teams goal, rapid results are created. When every team member can leave their Ego and their complaints and attention-seeking behind, while at the same time believing in the goal, a state of almost miraculous flow occurs. Group Unity is not the result of everyone being the same or being forced into a submission. It’s the result of every individual bringing their unique talent into one common aim. Think of a puzzle: Every piece of the puzzle is unique, but when put at the right place, they form a congruent whole. The puzzle pieces don’t need to be cut so that they fit to others. In any case of disharmony, you will almost always find a problem at the lower levels of the above scale.

A team leader who ignores individual abilities that and only says “Focus on the Goal” will not be as effective as one who puts people to tasks that match their personal inclination. Each team member knows their unique abilities and it is their responsibility to communicate and demonstrate these. In a healthy team, doing so will enhance your and others state.

That’s poorly understood in society, but those group leaders who know it, create remarkable results, such as are told of in History books.

To Create an Unstoppable Team:

  1. Create a Compelling Vision for Team Members to Focus on.
  2. Determine each Team Members Ability and assign tasks to them based on that.
  3. Educate or Remove Team-members who are not operating at the top of the Scale
  4. Keep the Team Focused on and Inspired about the Goal

It sounds so simple when written down like that. But of course there is more to the real-life situation . It can take some to reach that place of synchronous flow. You may have to re-assign tasks. Some may want to choose other tasks. It might take some time to detect unaligned people and intentions. The Goal might not be compelling enough for people to follow and you’ll need to create a brighter vision. You don’t want team members who are only working on your team because they earn money. Money is an important drive, but if you wish to create unstoppable momentum, each team member needs personal reasons, beyond money, to be involved in the project. There are a lot of products and companies where it’s challenging to get employees truly excited about it. In this case, something other must be attached to the product or project that people can get excited about. For example, how do you get a call-center for selling vacuum cleaners all excited about the task? The truth is, they probably don’t really care that much about vacuum cleaners. So you make a presentation on how many horrible illnesses have been prevented through cleanliness. That cleanliness would then be linked to the vacuum cleaners. Their position has just been re-framed from being “call center employees” to being world healers. Alright, maybe that’s a bit too tacky. 🙂 But if you can’t get them to be passionate about the product, it’s got to be something else, otherwise you’ll have just mediocre performance. And maybe that’s enough for you. But if it isn’t, do something about it by creating emotional attachment. Maybe you put a lovable leader in front of them, someone they’d “do anything for”. There are many ways to get people more associated with the project, team or goal. If you’re a team leader, it’s your job to know that that is what is needed and figure out ways to do it.

Is there an Oversoul that occupies several bodies across the world?

Recently heard:

I met a lady at work, she reminds me of a woman I know in Singapore. She looks just like her, except one is European, the other is Asian. It’s uncanny. They have the same look and the same protuding teeth. They make the same gestures, both circle their fingers upwards when they talk. It’s like I am looking at the Asian version of her. They even share similar opinions!”

Haven’t we all experienced this? There are just people, that look and sound like they come from the same prototype. If humans were manufactured, one would say that these are from the same factory. Our current models of reality don’t provide an explanation for it. The phenomenon is not limited to those genetically related, it occurs across ethnicity. One person might look, sound and act more similar to someone on the other side of the world than to their own family members. But Why? How?

Four theories that spontaneously come to mind:

The Oversoul Theory

Described in detail in my 2006  book “Parallel Universes of Self“, the idea that several Souls are grouped into one Oversoul. Imagine the fingers as different souls but the hand as one Oversoul. From this perspective, it could be that people who have a similar unique character across different families and countries are of the same Oversoul that is incarnate in different places. While evidence or references for this theory are hard to come by, it would also explain the experience of oneself existing in different parallel lives or in different times.

The Archetype Theory

The idea that there are a limited amount of archetypal Souls or genetic-makes that are re-used. For instance, there might be one Million types of people multiplied over a population of 7 Billion. We can see this in the animal kingdom. For example, there can be an unlimited number of cats, but a limited number of cat-types or an unlimited number of birds, but only a certain amount of bird types. And so,  “near duplicates” are found across different areas. This theory could also be true in combination with the Oversoul Theory. In that case, the Oversoul would be the Archetype for a certain genetic lineage. Another idea is that body-types are limited, souls unlimited. That would mean that each soul is unique, but the body type is not that unique.

The Mirror-of-Consciousness Theory

This is the idea that, as I meet different people, I am projecting qualities onto them, that remind me of an original imprint I received or imagined. The people are not like I see them, I am making them that way through my projection. I am seeing a similarity between the lady from Singapore, and the American lady that others are not necessarily seeing. And perhaps I keep attracting similar people into my life, due to who I am. And if I am attracting them, then this theory could be true in combination with the Archetype Theory and the Oversoul Theory. Another idea that comes to mind, is that peoples bodies are structured in a similar way if they have a similar life-path.

Common Ancestry

The most mundane explanation is that the two lookalikes merely have common ancestry. That’s a possibility, but it fails to explain matches across ethnicity and country and it also doesn’t explain how some of these match-ups share mental attitudes, especially considering that real identical twins often do not share opinions.

Is any of these theories accurate? I don’t know, I simply enjoy deep thought.  The question remains to be researched. Fortunately, Internet has allowed many lookalikes to meet up. Some look like identical twins, some are merely of similar “type”. I’ve taken these examples from the Internet, where people have posted many Millions of pictures of meet ups between them and their lookalikes (these are often called their “Doppelgangers”, but I believe the Doppelganger phenomenon to be something different, as previously written).

A few lookalikes across ethnicity:

I myself keep coming across certain”typical” people, regardless of which company, town, village, city or community I visit. Of course it’s an error to expect the same behavior from a new person as another you know that looks similar. You might think “He reminds me of X” and therefore expect him to be just like X. And sometimes character traits really do match, where you think “I knew he/she would be like that! That’s just TYPICAL!”. The word “typical” itself, means there are certain identifiable TYPES of people. But at other times they don’t match and matter how much he reminds you have your deceased friend, he isn’t. No matter how much she looks like your ex-girlfriend, she isn’t. Whether they share an Oversoul or have a life path in common or share certain talents is not known to me. There would have to be a gigantic scientific study that invites thousands of lookalikes, to determine that.

Ancient High Tech Caves

Something that most people do not yet know is that there is a system of artificially built caves and tunnels across the Globe.

Two recent examples of this, are the Caves in Huashan and Longyou, China. They are evidence of an ancient civilization that had technology on par or even superior to ours.

In Huashan there are 36 artificially created caves and in Longyou 24 have been found so far, only one of which is open to tourists.

Even though they are a thousand miles apart, both cave complexes are of similar layout and construction, as if built by the same people. The builders are unknown (to Academics). China has extensive historical records, but has apparently not recorded who has built these sensational structures. There are mentions of the caves in 1700 year old texts, but even the people who wrote those ancient records, do not know who built them! The caves were already ancient 1700 years ago.

Archaeologists have been unable to explain how the hard sandstone quartz was precision cut. In school we learned that the ancients had no such tools, but apparently they did.

Large parts of the cave complexes still can’t be accessed by tourists, due to flooding. Parts have been de-flooded for tourists to visit.

The caves in Huashan were reportedly rediscovered by a local farmer in the 1950s. It took until 1995 before a team from a Bejing University went to explore the place (45 years being enough time to loot artifacts).

What these explorers did find were fossilized Dinosaur prints! Even though the University ascribed the place to the 2nd and 3rd Century, the Dinosaur prints hint that the place may be much older. As readers of my books on Atlantis know, it is my view that ancient-high-tech originates from pre-great-flood times more than 12 000 years ago.

The cave systems consists of hundreds of halls, tunnels, stairways cut with precision and held by gigantic pillars. The lines of the ceiling were beautifully cut to match the topography of the mountain.

The Longyou caves were supposedly stumbled upon by a local villager in 1992, while he was pumping water from a pond. They make up an area of 30 000 square meters. There are no ancient records of the Longyou caves either. Their construction is not recorded in any historical documents. That is just more evidence that high-tech mega-structures such as these or the Pyramids of Giza, were built pre-flood.  Most evidence of these people was wiped out with the flood.

In Longyou, floor, walls and ceiling are covered in beautiful parallel lines that have been meticulously chiselled into it. Similar can be found in Huashan.

There are no traces of construction and no hints as to how these caves were dug out. When the caves were emptied of 18 000 tons of water, no fish or any other signs of life were found, which is an anomaly. Nor is it understood how these constructs are so well preserved to this day.

What does it all mean? I wrote my two books on Atlantis primarily to teach that there was once a high-tech civilization on Earth that got destroyed by a gigantic global flood. I also wrote the books to indicate, that, while these people were very advanced in technology, they were not necessarily ethical people. Many books on “ancient aliens” glorify these people and those times, but the texts of ancient mythology and sacred texts point to something quite different.

All of the large Pyramids around the globe were made by them. Just like the cave systems, most of these are yet to be discovered.

Having Fun with Embarrassment

Shame, Guilt and Embarrassment – the least fun sensations to experience. Which is why I have helped people have fun with these emotions – so that they can be brought up from the traumatized depths of the subconscious, handled and then shed like an old, unneeded piece of clothing. In Live Seminars of the 2000s, I conducted an exercise in which students created embarrassing situations for each other. The purpose was to bring up feelings of shame, breathe with them and authentically release. I would myself participate, to set an example. I remember students devising these cringe-moments for me, across different Seminars:

  • I was to go to the Hotel Reception Desk and loudly ask whether the porn-channel in my room was included or extra charge. The task was to loudly say the word “porn channel” at least thee times.  This was funny, as the Hotel staff knew me as this polite fellow who teaches higher consciousness. At least that’s the way I hoped they perceived me. The exercise helped me transcend my sense of self-importance. No longer needing to be perceived in a certain way = freedom.

  • I had to ask a Hotel staffer, who came in the Seminar room to exchange the Coffee this question: “Do you like me?”. This was in my twenties and was really unpleasant to me at the time. I didn’t want to be perceived as being needy of approval (which means that I was). What made the situation even more awkward, is that this staff member and I had never seen each other before! The staffer smiled shyly but didn’t even respond or look at me, making me feel not like a needy person, but even worse, someone who was bullying her. So after the exercise I went to apologize and explain. The exercise helped reveal (and later overcome) approval-addiction.

  • I had to wear a shirt that was much too tight for me (size small), all day. At first it was embarrassing but after a while it brought a smile to my face. From this I learned, how much I allow clothes to determine my identity. I also learned that I actually cared way too much about what complete strangers thought about me. There had been an absolute inability to feel good without just the right clothes. The dependence was somewhat transcended from that day forward. There is a difference between dressing well out of concern of what others think and dressing well out of inspiration.

  • I had to reveal my entire browser History on a wall-projected image for the whole group. This wasn’t as big of a deal for me as the students had hoped (the group “boooed” at the harmlessness of it).

When other peoples attention is directed to your shadow lower-self, consciousness tightens in an attempt to hide. These contracted states are called…

Shame

Guilt

Timidity

Shyness

Embarrassment

and are usually coupled with tightened body language and narrow perception.

Shame is the thought “I am bad“, Guilt is the thought “I did something bad” (which is less damaging than “I am bad”). At the same time, one is too worried about what others might think. You judge yourself harshly and believe others do the same and that their judgement absolutely defines you (Some then rebel against the judgement they imagine others having, which means they are rebelling against a projection of their own Imagination). Embarrassment is a softer version of Shame. You don’t really need it to keep you in line. Shame binds plenty of energy, releasing it makes you more healthy and alive. Suppressed shame is linked to things such as poverty, obesity and ill health.

Embarrassment can be released by allowing yourself to feel vulnerable. The lower-self biggest fear is to be vulnerable, to be seen as bad or to let go of control. It’s one of the great spiritual paradoxes that letting go of the need to control (trusting life) and its source, helps you feel more in control. When you allow embarrassment, you allow vulnerability. When you allow vulnerability, you are releasing the need to control. When you release the need to control, you will feel more in control.

The “You are Bad” belief that underlies shame and guilt, is supposed to serve the purpose of keeping low-consciousness-people civilized. It is assumed that, if they didn’t feel shame, they’d more likely commit transgressions. But I doubt that these emotions are really needed for doing good, if you replace Shame with Love and Respect. I have a very little shame, but I do have respect. Respect is different than shame. I will not appear naked to my friends Wedding, not because I am ashamed, but because I love and respect the people there. I will dress nicely when I go to that wedding, not because I am afraid of what they’ll think about me if I don’t, but because I respect myself and others. If you have love, you don’t need shame.

Others say that if you have no shame and guilt, you will repeat mistakes. But the opposite is true. Shame and Guilt assume you will make the mistake again. If you intend to do better, you don’t need shame and guilt. The only times they serve a positive function are in extremes, like rape and murder. But for sane people, shame and guilt have a negative effect. They prevent people from expressing themselves freely, feeling light and developing genuine relationships.

There is a show I have recommended to people who are dealing with timidity and shyness. It is called Impractical Jokers and features 4 friends who set out to embarrass each other in public. As ridiculous as it is, the show is unintentionally educative in that it shows how most people are very nice and forgiving. Sometimes too nice, to the point of being shy to point out these pranksters disrespectful behavior. This proves, beyond doubt, that there is no reason to be afraid of regular people. If you are shy or afraid of people, I recommend you watch a season of the show.

Should you ever find yourself in an embarrassing situation, it’s an opportunity. Instead of suppressing the moment and trying to run away, try to stand in that moment, keeping your body upright, your head high and maintaining eye contact with people, like you have nothing to hide. Shame causes you to make yourself small, as you believe others are judging you or that it is bad that they judge you. By doing the opposite and staying “big” or expanded, you gradually transcend these indoctrinated contractions.

Improve your State in One Minute

Reality Creation Coaching teaches ways to improve your state, for increased performance, health and success.

Last month I talked about how to improve your state in 10 Minutes. This simple exercise will improve your state of mind and energy in just one minute.

One-Minute State-Improver

  1. Name 3 things you taste right now
  2. Name 3 things you hear right now
  3. Name 3 things you feel right now
  4. Name 3 things you smell right now
  5. Name 3 things you’d like to taste right now
  6. Name 3 things you’d like to hear right now
  7. Name 3 things you’d like to feel right now
  8. Name 3 things you’d like to smell right now

Why this works:

Most negative states come from resisting what you are experiencing in the here-now. The first part of the exercise puts you in touch with the present moment and what you are actually experiencing. The second part of the exercise helps you experience things you prefer – in the here and now, as your subconscious does not discern between physical experience and imagined experience.

You can use this on yourself or others in any instance of fogginess, grogginess, dullness, headiness as a speedily effective intervention.

Stay in the Question

If this article is too long for you to read, the summary is this: You can learn and discover much more with the attitude “I don’t know much yet” than with the attitude “I know it all”.

Create an answer and the mind closes. Stay in the question, and the mind opens. Pat-answers and quick-conclusions may give you some relief, but they rarely give you truth. Addiction to the “relief of having the answer” is what keeps people stupid.

To lose weight, I recommended one student to start eating a certain food. To lose weight, I recommended to another student to stop eating that same food.

The above is true.

If you think that’s a contradiction, you are generalizing. The opposite of generalizing is viewing individual cases. Generalizing is good for making something easier to digest, but if a topic is important to you, stop generalizing and start examining in more detail.

UFOs are Aliens” a guy told me, as if he was way ahead of the herd. Oh yeah? Says who? Why have a final answer before more is known? His assertion that “UFOs are Aliens” narrows perception down to one possible outcome, blinding the believer to any other possibility. I responded: “I don’t know. I doubt it“. He said: “Wow…you surprise me, Fred. I didn’t think you’re that narrow minded! So many stars and galaxies out there and you think we’re the only ones in the whole wide Universe?

But I never said that I don’t believe aliens exist. I said I’m not sure UFOs are piloted by aliens. I’m certain aliens exist. But what if there are UFOs are actually military aircraft? Or inter-dimensional Beings? Or what if they are hologram projections? Or what if they are piloted by Crypto-terrestrials, that is, a species we share the world with, but just don’t know yet? Or what if it’s something else entirely that we do not yet understand? The possibilities are many. Saying “it’s aliens” discounts all of that and closes the doors of perception. End of story, end of inquiry. And the beginning of ignorance. And yet, this guy believed he was way ahead of the crowd. And I’ve seen a lot of people like that on many topics. There are none more ignorant than those who think they are awesomely enlightened.

A student once told me this:

“The day I decided to be an atheist my whole life changed. I felt liberated. What a relief that was. My whole outlook softened and for the first time I could see things without all these ridiculous rules, fears and silly rituals. This threat of permanent punishment in Hell is what had made me emotionally sick. Now I am well. Religion makes people sick!”

Another student told me this:

“The moment I gave my life to God, a miraculous transformation happened. Life began to make sense and Gods guidance made everything easier. I realized my own will is insufficient. I have burdened myself my whole life with it. Having given it to God, everything is now working well.  My health has improved. My finances have improved. I have left behind the dead world of atheism and submitted to the living God. Atheists are like retards.”

Both messages (which I have shortened for this article) are rife with false conclusions and generalizations. A person in need of relief, is rarely open minded. Pain is the reason for closing ones mind. As I later found out, the newly minted atheist was omitting that he grew up in a violent household. If he didn’t go to Church, his Dad would beat him with a belt. The beatings left marks on his body and scars on his soul. Is it any surprise he’d feel liberated after renouncing his fathers “Religion”? Looking more closely, what appeared to be a genuine report on personal transformation became nothing more than a straw man argument.

The report from the guy who found God is wonderful, until he says “Atheists are retards”, a generalization that devalues everything said before it. This is common if one holds a weak position. Then opposing positions are devalued. If this persons faith were genuine, there would be no need to put down others.

One student told me (shortened):

“Learning about reality creation and the law of attraction changed my life. I realized I am responsible for my reality and I can use my will and imagination, to change it. That really makes all the difference. I’m now more confident, more optimistic and my growth has greatly accelerated”.

Another told me (shortened):

“My transformation came to me when I let go of all of this need for success and goals and let myself to just be, abiding in the moment, accepting things as they are. This whole self-improvement hype is what really made me sick. Now I am well”.

Both of these positions are really just thoughts rather than absolutes. There is no need to come to a final conclusion on how to live or what life is about. People who rarely stay in the question are mentally lazy and perhaps even afraid of uncertainty.

One told me:

My life really took off after I got divorced. I didn’t realize how much I was limiting myself. This whole marriage thing is really a scam. Who says we are forced to be with just one person our entire life? Since my divorce I am more successful in my Business. I’ve been able to triple my income. I feel more happy.

Another told me:

After I married, everything changed to the better. Nothing is better than a sense of belonging, loyalty and love. My income has tripled.  Marriage is good and every human being should be married.

False-assignment-of-cause, false generalizations and false conclusions are quite common and a cause of all sort of misunderstanding.

“The whole marriage thing is really a scam”. Just because something didn’t work out for one person, does not mean that it’s generally bad. The same applies to the statement “Every human being should be married”. Should “every” human being be married, regardless of whether it’s the right match? Doubtful. That’s one of those beliefs that put people under pressure to marry prematurely. False generalization is one of the main roots of conflict: A person has an experience. Then he assumes that others should or should not have the same experience. So he tries to get others to believe. But your personal experiences do not apply to all other people. 5-year-old children that think that their own experiences apply to the whole world. People who don’t grow out of this childish mindset, become politicians. But whether marriage or staying single or going for a relationship without marriage is “good” or “bad” depends upon many factors: Whether you are ready for marriage, your choice of partner and whether you can stay true to yourself (among many other things).

I am not saying that “both sides are right”. That’s also lazy thinking and ignores what is right in a particular context. I am saying that what’s good for the dog needn’t be good for the cat. Let’s take diets for example: Maybe different body and blood types require different diets. Maybe body-builders require a different diet than librarians. Maybe nothing is wrong with many of the foods we demonize, but the method of processing is wrong. These generalizations, which “popular knowledge” is so full of, suppress inquiry and discernment. Truth is more personal than we care to admit. And if you listened too much to others, you couldn’t discover core truths about yourself.

The so-called “deep personal transformations” we just read about, often comes from change itself. I know a person who is meditating every day for an hour. She started a few months ago. Before that, she had never meditated. It has changed her life. She feels at peace. Her anger issues have disappeared. But I also know someone who quit meditating a few years ago. Since then, he has become madly successful in his Business. Before that he was always struggling. Stopping to meditate, changed his life. The “deep personal transformation” does not always come from the thing itself but from changing a habit. Even the most positive thing can become a stuck-ness. Let go, and the miraculous can happen.

I have gotten to know a fair amount of “open minded” people who have no idea how narrow minded they are. That’s because those who deem themselves open minded, quit questioning things. They think they no longer need to, because they are so open minded. The liberation of today is the stuckness of tomorrow. The Universe keeps expanding and you too are meant to keep growing, expanding, evolving, learning. Humans are not meant to do the same activity, over and over, even if it’s a good activity. Don’t get stuck on one vocation for more than 10 years, you are so much more.

That doesn’t mean you should discard everything old. It’s like moving to a new house. You take the best stuff with you, but discard the junk you don’t need. This applies to beliefs and emotions too. Take the beliefs that worked with you and discard the rest.

The hidden factor underlying personal transformation is:

level of consciousness and energy

Through a change in attitude, a person is progressing from one level of the scale to the next and experiences that as a “deep personal transformation”. The external change is more of an anchor or excuse to go up to the next level within.

A Belief is like a car. It gets you from A to B. To expect me to have exactly the same belief for every person, in every situation, is madness. “But Fred! How can you recommend X to this Person and Y to the other!” Well, maybe because these are two different people with very different backgrounds, genes, situations, mental constructs that require entirely different approaches? That is not to say that there are no universal standards. There are many things that apply to anyone and many things that apply only to the individual.

People who become fanatics that advocate for some partial-truth, do so because they were in pain and looking for a solution. Fanatics generalize: They found a solution that worked that one time, at that one place and then think it is a solution to everything. But just because crying in front of your mom worked well, doesn’t mean it will work well in front of the Boss. In the fanatic you will find that a partial solution was found, but the pain is not entirely gone. So that we get more of what gave us partial relief, we focus so strongly that we become fanatic. A fanatic is not fully convinced of the thing he is fanatic about.

A person who is not in pain, has the time and leisure to regard each thing, each person, each plant, each country, each product, each item, each project, each company, each path individually and uniquely, without the need to generalize or draw quick conclusions. A person free of pain, can stay in the Question. Staying in the Question is wide open awareness. This awareness can test different options, can focus in on one thing and then zoom out again. The growth in knowledge and intelligence in this state, is rapid and exponential. That’s how to reverse the dumbing-down of the mind and perceive endless possibility.

You can learn and discover much more with the attitude “I don’t know much yet” than with the attitude “I know it all”.

How to Handle Difficult People

In a recent Webinar, someone asked me “How to handle difficult people”. I gave the short answer, which is to “give attention to their upsides, and no attention to their downsides”. Subconsciously, attention is taken as a reward, so that’s an effective universal principle you can apply to anyone. It’s a good short answer. This article is the long answer.

So, a “Difficult person” shows up or speaks. You and others are “triggered” or it occupies your attention for hours. Isn’t that how it goes? And doesn’t that apply to any variation of “difficult person” –  that choleric grandparent, the perpetually irate teenager, the creepy Boss or the negative colleague. We experience “difficult people” as difficult, because they occupy our attention in a negative way. That’s why I say “don’t give their negativity any attention”. When something or someone “upsets” us, what we really mean is that we keep replaying what was said or done in our minds, combined with negative emotion. We give a thing we don’t like, great attention, seriousness and importance. That’s what “being upset” really means.

People react to “difficult people” in different ways. Sometimes we try to appease the person. Sometimes that works, temporarily. We say “oh sorry, so sorry, it wont happen again. You are absolutely right“. But as you all know from life experience, that really only works temporarily. It can be used if you never see that person again. It also works if you really are in the wrong. But that’s not appeasement, it’s confession. Appeasement is the fake attempt to sooth a “difficult person”, well knowing that person too easily gets angry and will get angry again.

Some people don’t appease, they confront and criticize head-on. That certainly feels stronger than appeasement, but it isn’t that much better. It will lead to loud arguments and fights that nobody actually benefits from. It depletes more energy in all involved. Confronting someone is better than fear, but its still emotionally jarring. And you’ll have to repeat it over and over because it doesn’t solve the problem.

Yet others try to ignore the “difficult person”. That might work better than appeasement and confrontation, but it doesn’t make the difficult person go away. And sooner or later the difficult person might notice and target you.

Ignoring a person is not the same thing as “not giving their negative side any attention”. You give the persons good side attention, you emphasize that persons strengths. That’s not ignoring its supporting. And at the same time, you don’t react to the persons negative or difficult side.

Most people who claim to be “ignoring” someone, actually have their full attention on that person all the time! They pretend to “ignore” but it troubles them day in, day out.

Appeasement, being Confrontational and Ignoring are no permanent solutions.

Truly the very first step to a permanent solution is not found in changing “the other”, it’s found in your own state. At some level, every human being knows this.

Just to be clear: I am referring here to the 98% of “difficult people”, not the 2% of people who are outright ill-intended. Most “difficult people” are not ill-intended. They merely need some love and maybe some Coaching. Everything said here, applies to these 98%. If you are dealing with one of the 2% of people who are sociopath, I recommend you remove yourself from them completely. None of these methods will work on people who want to do harm. How do you know you are dealing with such a person? They are unresponsive to love.

The heart of the matter, when dealing with difficult people, is to maintain your state. That’s the same state you had, before the “difficult person” showed up or spoke. If you can maintain your state, all else becomes easier. Getting upset, preoccupied, avoiding, ignoring, confronting, appeasing…ALL of that is because you did not maintain your normal state. You maintaining your state means that this person or their behavior do not trigger or control you. You can be yourself, be natural, with no need to either suppress or express, manipulate, attempt, resist, desire, etc. Nothing has changed if “difficult person” shows up.

You know how you feel when a neutral person shows up? That’s right, you don’t feel any different. It’s a matter of practice to feel the same way about the “difficult person”. From that natural, effortless space you could choose to talk or not talk, advise or not advise, joke or not joke, retreat or stay. Because you feel at ease, either leaving or staying are fine.

Yes, this is easier said than done. I just wanted to clarify why that should be your aim.

Now you might think that all this implies that you should do breathing or relaxing exercises in the presence of the person. But that’s not quite what I mean. Any sort of “exercise” you do because of the person, is yet another layer of unnatural reaction. Do you do breathing exercises when a neutral or friendly person is around? No? Then don’t do it for the difficult person either. Instead, you might at first notice just how many reactions you have to that person. There’s a whole circus going on within: Should I look at him or look away? Talk to him or not? Does he notice me or not? Can I change him or not? Does he want to change or not? All of that is irrelevant. It’s just the mind resisting and reacting to what is labeled “a difficult person”.

If only you could see everyone from the heart, you’d see that the “difficult person” is merely struggling. And if you saw that, a ray of love would flow from your field to his/hers and it would contribute to the lightening of the persons mood.

Did I just imply that you could radiate some peculiar energy in another persons direction and it would change their state?

I didn’t only imply it, I said it. You can improve peoples state by your own radiance. If you find yourself unable to shift the state of the “difficult person” its only because you need to grow in energy.

It can’t be done when your energy is depleted. You realize that most couples have fights when they are both tired. Most spousal arguments happen in the evening. When energy is depleted, it’s best to go rest (or to improve your fitness). Just that, will save you a lot of trouble with people.

If, for some reason, you did not achieve maintaining your state with a difficult person, instead of giving up on it, examine the situation. Examine how you reacted and envision how you’d like to be next time that “difficult person” shows up. Also envision how you’d like that “difficult person” to be. Keep on practicing until you no longer have to escape that type of person and can be yourself in their presence. It may take some time, but it’s greatly rewarding in many different ways you will discover. There is no merit in always escaping, because a difficult person can be found anywhere. Perhaps there is a reason this person is in your surroundings. Perhaps it’s for you to overcome a barrier within yourself, to transcend that which withholds love.

How Many People Return their Shopping Carts?

I had just packed food into the car and was looking around for a place to put the empty shopping cart. There was none in my part of the parking lot. I’d have to walk to another parking lot just to return the shopping cart. Instead, I spotted 4 carts nearby, cleanly stacked and I added my cart to it. I won’t just leave my cart anywhere, much less standing astray in a parking lot, is because I don’t like to find parking lots taken by carts. The reason I leave a public toilet clean, is because I want to find a public toilet clean. As I treat the world, the world treats me.

I sat in my car observing for 20 minutes. I was curious to see how many people actually return their carts and how many just leave them anywhere. The question was: Are people generally self-responsible or do they need to be governed?

At this particular supermarket, the guests were well behaved. About 50% returned their carts to the place assigned. Another 20% did not return the carts to their assigned place, but made sure they were out of the way of traffic or added to other carts. And around 30% really didn’t give a damn. Another interesting observation: It wasn’t that easy to predict who would not return their cart. Non-returners came from all walks of life, all social classes and all ages.

In this particular scenario, 70% didn’t require Government, 30% needed to be governed. I guess that’s not yet high enough to abolish Government. The remaining 20% were self-responsible but not necessarily conformist. On that day, I was in the 20% bracket. I cared about the well-being of others and didn’t want my cart in anyones way, but saw no urgent need to take it to another parking lot.

It’s quite important to “do the right thing” self-responsibly, regardless of who is or isn’t watching. It’s a sign of high consciousness integrity. It makes the world a friendlier place and keeps your mind clear, without regret. And it’s better to be goodness than to reprimand others to do good. The more each and every one of us governs ourselves (instead of attempting to govern others), the brighter the world gets.

Another thing I noticed:

When one person put a cart where it doesn’t belong, another person was more likely to put their cart their too. Person A shoves their cart against the wall. Person B exits the supermarket, sees the stray cart against the wall and adds their own to it. Its a monkey-see, monkey-do world. Soon there’s a domino effect (like attracts like) of many people just randomly shoving their carts against the wall. The paint starts to peel off, making the wall look run down. Frustrated staff have to spend time picking the carts up. One small act can have butterfly-effect-like consequences down the line.

The shopping-cart issue is a mini-version of society as a whole and your own attitude toward it. It’s easy to return the cart. It’s probably even easier not to return it. It’s not illegal not to return it. So do you or don’t you? Will you do the right thing, even though you get no tangible benefit out of it? Even if nobody is expecting you to do it? If you believe that what you put out, you get back, energetically, you’ll return your cart most of the time.

When I got home I browsed around the Internet, wondering if anyone else was asking these questions. Sure enough, millions were. I learned that 70% self-responsible is not the rule. Some Walmart employees, for example, were complaining that the majority don’t return their carts. That surprised me. Maybe their area had a different clientele.

The opposite extreme of being irresponsible, is being overly conformist. At another time, I saw one person accosting another for not putting their cart back. “You put that cart where it belongs, right now!” This person was trying to be responsible for the conduct of another. In my view it’s better to be responsible toward others than for others (unless they are ones employees or your own children). Being responsible toward others means that you do the right thing. Being responsible for others means that you try to get them to do the right thing. The first option is much easier and people learn more by your example than by what you tell them to think or do. Ordering strangers to do stuff means it does not come from within them and they have no opportunity to develop self-responsibility.

Self-responsibility or self-motivation, by the way, is the defining character-trait of very successful people. Why is that so? I’ll leave it up to you to think about.

Just for fun, here are different Levels of Shopping Cart Return, from high civility to low.

Navigating the Maze of Life

The words “Labyrinth” and “Maze” used to be synonymous. Today they are often discerned as the maze being a complex, multi-course puzzle with choices of path and direction, while the Labyrinth is a uni-course single path to a center. I here also use these definitions of calling “unicursal” (unambigious single path, no choice) a Labyrinth and  calling a “multicursal” (challenging, multi-choice) a Maze.

The purpose of this article is to show that both Maze and Labyrinth teach us a lot about the nature of Being and Reality and represent two very different modes of Consciousness.

Walking a single-path Labyrinth is associated with Spirituality, used as a tool of meditation and contemplation. This is the famous Labyrinth in Chartres Cathedral:

The maze, on the other hand, is associated more with weirdness, confusion, magic, mystery and even alternate dimensions.

A maze represents the dilemma of free choice. The more we exercise our free will, the more we branch off on our own. Exercising our own will, outside of the norm and outside of predetermined paths feels empowering and exciting. In a maze we can develop intuition. But if taken to a too great extreme, we may lose orientation or lose our way and center.

A labyrinth represents the submission to Source or  submission to Destiny. It’s one clear path with no doubt or ambiguity. You let it all go and give it to a higher source or universal plan. No difficult decision and not much responsibility required from you. This path and way of life can be soothing and reassuring. Such submission or letting-go can take you back to your center. You admit that you do not have an overview over the whole field and that your own wilfullness is just guess-work. There is no downside to this path, except that, taken to the extreme, you don’t develop willpower, responsibility and creativity, because they are not required on a unicursal path.

In my experience, life is best when it gently swings between these two polarities, rather than being only one or the other. A nice mix between a Maze and a Labyrinth:

At some times, you exercise your personal power, and life again becomes a-maze-ing. At other times, when you wish to return to your center, you become meditative like the Labyrinth walker, letting go of personal will. In my book “The Reality Creation Technique” I say that you ought to take personal will as far as it takes you and then “let go”, giving the rest to divine will. Put differently: You do the best you can in working on your goal, but leave the outcome up to “The Universe”. Yet another way to put this, is that you take care of planting the seeds correctly, but don’t worry about when and how the plants will grow, they will appear in due time. If you were to micro-manage the growth, checking every day whether the plant is “finally” manifesting, you’d be digging out the seed every day, giving it no time and space to develop. Even though you cannot see the future, you know that by planting the right seed, the future brings growth and results. But only if you are more interested in sowing than reaping.

Living both these polarities is like breathing in and out. The breathing in is taking the world into you, taking control, doing it, controlling it, deciding it, being responsible for it. The breathing out is letting it happen, giving up the fight, letting go, letting be, giving it to the Universe to manage.

All that said, I recommend you walk both the Labyrinth and a Maze in real life if you ever get the chance. The maze should be big enough to really challenge you. How does it really feel when you’ve lost your way and can no longer retrace to the entrance? How do you deal with that situation? Do you succumb to a tightening of the chest (fear) or do you take a breathe and activate spatial intuition? You’ll learn a lot about yourself. Getting out of the maze has a lot to do with your awareness of the big picture. If your mind is rigidly fixated on the current situation or problem, on that in front of your eyes, you don’t stand a chance. But if awareness expands to the field as a whole, you will get a vague sense in which general direction the exit lies. This nudge to go a certain way, is called Intuition.

Walking the Labyrinth, on the other hand, will give you a sense of the aspects of life that are pre-destined rather than free-willed. At anytime you can choose the tracks already laid out for you or you can choose free-will mode. But the Labyrinth is pure destiny mode. Some people will feel more uncomfortable with the uniscursal path than with the maze. It may feel limiting or even suffocating to them. But most will feel relief and relaxation. The path is clear, and while it may take some time and circle a few times, it always leads to the center, to the heart of the matter. If you have an issue you’d like to release or a goal you’d like to reach, you can take it with you on the Labyrinth walk. You can intend that, by the time the center is arrived at, the issue is released or the goal manifest (or a path to it has become clear). The Labyrinth represents certainty. The patience you experience while walking slowly down the path, is different from Endurance. Patience and Endurance are not the same thing. Patience knows that the goal will eventually be arrived at. It is hopeful and optimistic. With endurance, on the other hand, it is not known whether there is a goal and whether it will be achieved.

If your life has become too complicated and complex, like your mind, then it has become a three-dimensional maze.

In that case, its time to become more uni-scursal and focused.

But if your life has become predictable and you have become complacent, it’s time to become more multi-cursal and make new decisions.

It is not always easy to hit the sweet spot in between these two modes. But it’s good to know that they exist and to understand how they can benefit you in different phases of life.

How Social Media and Search Engines “edit” reality

People assume that when they browse the Internet, they are seeing an accurate reflection of what people are thinking or what’s “trending”.

But it’s not so. The reality you are being shown, is being edited for you by a hidden hand. As if you were a child who is unable to make the right choices about what to see, some information is selected, other things censored – without your conscious knowledge or consent.

I’ll give you an example of this from my own social media presence. On Twitter, any given post of mine gets an average of 4 likes.

If you think that’s normal, think again. I have been on twitter since more than 10 years and on the Internet 20 years. I have sold over 1 Million books on my own. Before I removed my contact information from the Internet, I received up to 80 reader emails a day – so many that I had to pay someone to respond because it was overwhelming.  And yet, on average, every post I make on twitter is actually seen by an average of only 30 people, according to the analytics page. This is regardless of how many hashtags I use. Most people who follow me on Twitter don’t have my posts appear in their feed. They have to go to my Twitter page specifically, in order to see them. Is that normal?

Of course not. I have been shadowbanned for the last 10 years. I got shadowbanned shortly after I set up my account. How do I know this? I know because an expert told me. But I also suspected it because for years, people kept asking me why they can’t see my new posts on Twitter. And I kept telling them “I don’t know. Ask Twitter”.

About 6 years ago, I hired an expert to help me with this. He explained that people would have to “like” my posts and then they could see them. For some people, this worked, but for others, it didn’t. Even then, my posts were hidden to them. Then, a year later, I hired another expert and he outright explained to me that Twitter is masking my posts. I was baffled. How naive I was to assume differently.

What did I do about it? Nothing. Anyone who reads Twitters terms and conditions will see that this is nothing unusual, it’s to be expected. It says:

“Twitter reserves the right to limit distribution or visibility of content”.

What you are seeing is therefore not what YOU choose to see, it’s what Twitter chooses FOR you. Unbeknownst to most people using social media, they have a nanny watching out for them.

When I go to shadowban.eu, a site to test whether one is shadowbanned, this is the message that shows up for twitter.com/realitycreation

The item “something unexpected went wrong” has been showing up for years. It leads to the part of the T&C regarding the “limiting of the distribution of content”. In other words, someone in the world said: “I don’t like this Reality Creation stuff. I’m going to make sure as few people as possible see it!”

In order to see if I can get rid of the throttle, I recently switched my account from @realitycreators to @realitycreation, but the block remained.

But WHY? What’s wrong with a little Reality Creation?

My guess is, that, in my particular case, because I don’t post controversial content, it’s about Money.  Twitter has been unable to collect data about my behavior, because I don’t follow anyone. I do not purchase any ads. I do not retweet. If they cannot know my thoughts, they can’t sell my data, meaning they can’t make money off of me. You wanna bet that the moment I start following and retweeting people or paying for ads, the shadowban will lift?

The recent massive twitter-hack revealed that Twitter admins have sophisticated shadow-banning tools (despite public claims otherwise):

Or maybe it’s not about money, maybe it’s blacklisted for reasons beyond my comprehension. I’ve contacted twitter twice in the last 10 years, to inquire about this and they insist there “are no restrictions to my account”. So I asked: Then why do people keep telling me they can’t see my posts? “Because they first have to follow you”. But they do. “Then they should like some of your posts”. But what if those who “Like” a post still can’t see? “That’s not the case”. “So are you telling me that all these people are liars?” No response.

I’ve experienced similar on Facebook. For a long time, the number of people I was ‘allowed’ to reach was capped at around 100. Every single time I got more than 100 Likes on any post, my website link would be banned and I could no longer post it to Facebook. Trying to post from my website, brought up warnings of “malicious content” and “abusive content”. Then I’d have to go through the hassle of getting it un-banned again. This happened at least six times. At the time, I was posting about loving kindness, attention control, forgiveness and higher realms of consciousness. Hows that for “abusive content”?

My content is harmless. So why was Facebook was actively preventing the growth of my page? It seemed bizarre. Don’t these companies embrace merit-based growth? At least the website-banning stopped happening from the moment I booked Facebook-Ads now and then, for upcoming Seminars. So I learned the bottom line: Money. I gave them money and ever since then, my site appears not to be blocked (but I can’t be sure, of course).

When the Internet began, it was much easier to have your content spread just by the merit of its quality. But nowadays, the popular parts of the Internet are managed and edited. Rarely does anything “go viral” or achieve “organic growth” without a little bit of prodding in the form of money.

Money-making is not a problem. But actively suppressing growth in order to make more money is where things get tricky. If these trends continue, our greatest source of information will become the greatest source of information-control. It would be great if people get their controlling, micro-managing, editing hands off the Internet and instead simply allow the domino pieces to fall where they may.

I am not bothered about being shadow-banned because I don’t depend on the Internet (but I sure know many people who do depend on social media for their livelihood!). What bothers me is the pretense that the information you are seeing is the information you chose to see.

It just isn’t so. I am currently working on the most massively researched book I have ever written. For this research, I have had to use other Search Engines than Google, because Google no longer provides relevant data for in-depth research. There is a lot of very interesting data out there, that simply cannot be found on Google (or its sister, Wikipedia).  If something is not mainstream, it will be hard to find. And yet, most of the world relies on Google to have “all the information”. Even “alternative” Search Engines often rely on Google for their results. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that in the ancient German language, the word “Gougal” (pronounced Google) means “Deception”, “Sorcery”, “Illusion”. What a fitting name!

And what about Amazon…does it really contain all relevant books there are in the whole wide world? No. Not even close! To research my current book project, I have ordered and read more than 10 books this year. Half of these books were nowhere to be found on Amazon! This surprised me the most.

If you see things “trending” on Google, Twitter or anywhere else, consider this: Maybe that’s not what real people are really interested in. Perhaps it’s what some paid interest, special interest, industry interest, wants people to be interested in. Unfortunately it then becomes the “talk of the town” and the trending thought of the people. But if it weren’t presented as “trending” and “popular”, through algorithm manipulation, nobody would be thinking and talking about it.

Thus, companies such as Google, Facebook and Twitter, are the most powerful mass-reality-creating tools ever invented. They can determine, in a flash, what the whole world is thinking and talking about. And it doesn’t take all that much effort. If, for example, I want a global synchronization of consciousness on the topic of “Covid 19”, all I have to do is start having it trend on Google, Twitter, Facebook. Soon every radio station and TV Station and news-site will pick up on it. And soon, that’s all you’ll be hearing about, for months, at the expense of other important topics. You’ll hear about Covid everywhere you go and every day and in every public square, but you won’t hear about illnesses that kill millions people more and are vastly more dangerous than Covid 19. Nor will you hear about a Million other items of news that might be important. There will be a shortage of good news and a hyping of fear-news such as “Having Covid does not make you immune!”. You’ll hear contradictory stuff such as “Masks are mandatory” and “Masks won’t help you”. You’ll have the usual confusion and agitation of the world-mind broadcast uniformly into every country. Just imagine if that were true! What a formidable system of mass mind control that would be! Fortunately, that’s just science fiction. Or is it?

Reality Creation means to choose ones own thoughts and actions, not to have someone else choose for you. That is how you experience the reality you prefer, instead of the fear-based fever-dream of the world-mind.

Pre-Charge your Energy Battery

As a teenager, staying at my grandparents for a few days, my grandfather once called me a “lazy do-nothing, good-for-nothing”. He was always doing something – washing his car, sawing in the garage, fishing in a nearby river, playing golf. I do not recall him just sitting and being with family or just sitting and being period. Grandmother was just the opposite; sitting and watching TV most of the time. Looking back, I can see her laziness as a reaction to his excessive industry. Am I a lazy do-nothing, good-for-nothing? At the time, I just didn’t have the energy to do much. I was dealing with “emotional issues”, as is typical for solipsistic teenagers. I didn’t know that self-absorption and resistance toward activity, was draining my energy. Today, when I see a “lazy do-nothing, good-for-nothing” teenager, I feel compassion, because I remember my own days of energy-exhaustion.

Yesterday, I went to the Gym for an hour, then mowed my lawn, which is a 2 hour task that includes the difficult terrain of hills and slopes. Then, I scrubbed my bathroom and the guest bathroom. After a short break, I did a few hours of Coaching work with students. In the evening, I still felt fresh  and awake. I recalled a time in my early twenties where just mowing the lawn would leave me exhausted, lying on the Sofa all day.

Where did you get all this energy, Fred?

I’ve been asked this a lot. I am asking myself right now. Readers of my book “Increase your Energy” deserve to know.

Aren’t we told that youth have much more energy than older adults? With me, it was the other way around. The older I get, the more energy I have (what a beneficial belief).

The first rule of high energy is non-resistance. I embrace activity. An example: If there are three suitcases to take, instead of trying to divide the task between three family members, I attempt to take all three suitcases. This has puzzled people. “Fred, don’t exhaust yourself!”. But in reality, increasing your physical fitness, will give you more energy. If going to the Gym once a week makes you tired, try going three times instead – your energy will go up.

The second is the ability to “just be”. Just-being is the polarity to activity. If you can just be, without guilt, you re-charge your physical and mental battery. We enjoy the presence of our kids or partners while they are lying beside us sleeping. Why? Because in their sleep, they are “just being”. There is no expectation of having to do. One can just sit and enjoy a persons presence. This fully regenerates a person.

Ideally, “just being” can be experienced without sleeping. The no-mind state you have right before sleep, is just a small taste.

Unfortunately, since the 1950s, electronic screens have hijacked the “just being” process in most households. So instead of “just being” with each other, partners and families are entertained by screens. Due to lack of energy, TV and computer screens are used to not to have to do or think anymore. Over time, the ability to switch off doing and thinking without the screen, is lost. It will benefit anyone to practice silence and being, without phone, computer or TV screens.

A week ago, I went to the Mall. I felt more drained from just 30 minutes in the mall, than from 12 hours of sports and work. I came home and took a nap. Why? Apart from all the ads and screens, cheap perfume and cheap music, it’s to do with the crowds. We are influenced by the people we surround ourselves with. Would it be possible to practice “just being” with these strangers, until there is no more energy-drain? Yes, if I took the time for that, I could probably transcend the issue. But spending many hours in a mall practicing just being is not on my priority list just yet.

Do you know  someone who spends more time with their pets than with human beings? Often you’ll find that their parents or former partners deprived them of just-being. They’ll feel it’s easier to “just be” with animals.

If I use a drill, I charge its battery right after use so that it’s ready next time I need it. When I use my video camera, I charge its battery right after use so that it’s ready to go next time I want it. This tendency to pre-charge runs through my entire life. I live my life as-if readying myself for grand, important and wonderful events. And that’s why I attract the same. Because I expect grand, important and wonderful events, I maintain physical and mental fitness, stay dressed nicely, keep my home clean, and learn new skills all the time. The day I stop doing these things, is the day I lower my expectations. With lower expectations, comes  lower energy. And with lower energy, come all sorts of health and money problems.

Someone once commented on my writing: “The most used word on your website is Energy“. That’s true. It’s because Energy is the basis of everything else. In case you haven’t noticed yet, the whole Universe is made of Energy.

I do not consent to Covid Collectivism

Imagine living in a world where, if one person coughs, the whole country locks down.

Twitter screencap

The other day I was sipping coffee and watching a small group of protesters against lock down. A guy in his car pulled shouted: “You’re all nuts! You’re going to infect people you selfish assholes!”

And just like that…freedom came to be considered selfish

Like these protestors, I’m in the minority, but I’d like to officially go on record saying:

I do not consent to the lock-down.

The more people can say that, the sooner it’s over.

I’ve been clinically dead once and near-death another two times, so I’m not too worried about it. I actually look forward to the day I can ascend to a higher place, so I don’t know what all the fuss is about. I never demanded that you shut down your Business. In fact, I was never asked. Would you demand that Businesses be shut down to avoid a virus spread? Or would you just stay home, if you were worried about an infection?

Global lock down measures have been an assault on small Business. Many have gone broke and let go employees. All this “for the sake of the collective”? For those “less fortunate”? What about the families of the employees who lost their jobs?

Lock downs should have required peoples explicit consent. If they didn’t in your country, then your Government acted unlawfully. Why are the majority of people accepting of unlawful actions? Due to unfamiliarity with law. Their acceptance is taken as implicit consent.

The Covid-19 farce is just the latest outfit that collectivism is wearing. Those who embrace it have a short memory span. They’ve already forgotten the failed 20th Century relics called Communism and Fascism, which left hundreds of millions of people starved, desperate or killed.

“What’s wrong with giving up your selfish “freedoms” if you can save just one life? Viewed superficially, it makes sense. If I can save just one life,  why not give up my freedom of movement, of association, of Business? Except that giving up your Business negatively affects your community in the long run. More deaths come through poverty than through viruses. In poverty you don’t have access to good medical care, good food and the inner well-being required for a resilient physical body.

In many countries it was or is now illegal to run a restaurant, hotel, gym, meditation studio, office space, etc. My job as a success-coach will become quite challenging if it becomes illegal to be successful. Small Businesses are the backbone of civilized society, because they help regular people and their communities, make a living. Once they are gone, all you have left are large Corporations and Government, and no middle class. That’s why there was no lock down with SARS, Swine Flu and other more deadly viruses.

Every time collectivism rears its head, militarism and mass-surveillance soon follow. Hence, in some countries you now have military enforce covid curfews and spy-drones check for people breaching lock-down restrictions.

If you’re too sanitized and “protected”, your immune system never develops any defenses and becomes weak.  Once everyone is locked in to prevent virus deaths, death will find another way in.  If it’s your Souls’ time to go, then so be it – death is not as tragic as they make it. All of our fear-measures can’t prevent it. If anything, extreme focus on “coronavirus”, has caused more deaths, because resources and attention are drawn away from other, more severe illnesses such as heart-disease, cancer or even other forms of flu. Peoples isolation causes additional psychosomatic problems.

“But Fred…what if a more severe pandemic outbreak happens? Will you still have the same views? Don’t you think its right to quarantine people to prevent the spread of something potentially deadly?”

Yes, it’s a good idea to quarantine people…if they are sick. It’s not a good idea to collectively quarantine everyone, even the healthy. In a sane society, the sick are quarantined for a time. In a dysfunctional society, the healthy are quarantined. Covid-19 did not mark the beginning of a global dysfunction, it revealed the dysfunction we were already living in. Dysfunction always leads to collectivist zeal, which leads to more problems in the long run.

In a healthy, enlightened society, there are things that should be determined collectively and things that should be determined individually. If you take the model of a small village, it’s easier to see what’s right and wrong. If one person in the village gets a contagious illness, who should be quarantined: The sick person or the whole village?

Collectivism has never worked. Did you know that all positive breakthroughs in human advancement came from individuals, not groups, committees, corporations or organizations? The most negative events in human History usually come from Mobs. Individuals that bring positive change are normally “outsiders” and “misfits” who don’t easily fit to any one group or collective.

The most important inventions were not made by subsidized Corporations, but by lone mavericks. Important inventions have in common that they are initially resisted, called impossible, unusable or unimportant.

The steam turbine, radio and wireless communication were invented by the much attacked Nikola Tesla, the Telephone by Johann Phillip Reis who was self-taught, phonograph and lamp by Thomas Edison, the car was invented by Carl Benz, the airplane by the Wright Brothers, the Jet Engine by Frank Whittle, the commercial computer by Eckert and Mauchly, Polaroid Photography  by Edwin Land, Cinema by the Lumiere brothers, Celluloid film by Eastman, etc. Anyone using a light switch, turning on a TV or Computer, making a phone call, listening to music, driving a car or flying a plane, is doing so thanks to a lone individual, not institutionalized science, not a governmental research group, not a large corporation.

Likewise, no progress in spiritual knowledge has ever come through an institutionalized religion. All progress in spiritual knowledge has come through lone sages, saints, mystics, prophets and messengers. Oftentimes they are first hated and mocked by those institutions and gain recognition through word-of-mouth of regular people.

Collectivism also doesn’t work when it comes to Accountability: We speak of “the media” and “the Government” and “the Corporation”, but there is no such thing. People say “the media tells lies”. But who is “the media”? Because its a collective term, a specific culprit cannot be targeted. He can hide behind “the media”. “The Government covered it up” Who is “the Government”? Who exactly covered it up? “The Corporation treats people badly”. None of these statements can be true. It can only be true that a specific person treats another badly, a specific person covers something up, a specific person lies. Who is it? Collectivism obscures accountability. In reality, a specific person is responsible for doing a specific thing.

As long as things are referred to as some generalized collective, no truth can be established. Notice that all Wars were wars against some demonized collective. We say we are “at war” with some nation or culture. But in many cases, the regular people of those cultures, have little interest in war and weren’t even asked.

The word “Collectivism” is the act of giving a group priority over the individuals in it. But a collective is made up of individuals. When that’s forgotten, the collective becomes cruel. Throughout human History, nobody had to ask permission to go fishing, collect rain water, build a house, own property, start a business, renovate ones home, use a transportation vehicle, get married, go hunting, cut hair, sell a product, protest, grow food on your property or set up a lemonade stand. Today, in most places around the world, these things are “prohibited” unless you ask someone else for “permission”. That’s collectivism turned cruel and out of control.

What can you do about it? Maintain your unique individuality, viewpoint and creativity. Keep questioning group-think and fear-based thought. Know the laws of your country. Focus on ways people have cured themselves from symptoms instead of focusing on how “others might infect me”.  In a world of homogenized news-reporting, homogenized measures and homogenized opinions, dare dissent.

The common origin of all languages

Any amateur with a keen eye on language and the sound of words soon discovers two things:

  1. All languages have a common origin
  2. The meaning of words across different cultures, reveals a lot about life.

I’ve been diving into languages for two (!) upcoming books, one to be published by the end of 2020, the other due in 2021. My next book is not primarily about languages, but in one of its chapters I make a strong case for their common origin. This article provides a small taste.

The English word Maker or to make originates from the ancient English word Macian, also related to the ancient German words Maha (maker) and Mahon (to make) or modern German Macher (maker) and Machen (to make)

The Arabic word Maher, refers to Deft, Skill or a job well done.

The Maori (Polynesian) word Mahi means effort. The Maori word Ma alone, means “made by” and “acted upon”.

It’s commonly assumed that English, Arabic and Polynesian are not related. Yet the sound Maha refers to almost the same thing across these “disparate” languages.

But that’s only the beginning! I was able to find the sound Maha related to making, creation, creator, doing, work and effort in almost every language I looked into! What a surprise!

In Sanskrit, the word prefix Ma means “to create”, “to make” and “to produce”. Ma also means Mother in Hindi and many other tongues (Mama, Mommy, Mater in Latin). When Buddhists call the “illusory world” Maya, they are referring to Ma-ya, the world that was created. The anagram of Maya is Yama, which happens to be the name of the Hindu and Buddhist “God of Death and the Underworld”. From the base-word Ma, we also get the Hindi term Maha which means super or great and finally Maharaj, which means King. And perhaps this is why Hindus call the highest Creator Brah-ma. And maybe that is also where we get our words Ma-yor and Ma-jor. From Ma we also get our word for Matter, in Latin Materia, because ma-tter is that which is created.

The ancient Hebrews had the words Mahon and Machanon which both referred to Heaven or the realm of the Creator.

But wait, there’s even more. If you believed that Asian languages are entirely foreign, get this:

In Japanese, there is a word called Takamahara. It is translated as “high heaven”, with the Mahara part, referring to the realm of the Creator. But even the official Japanese word for Creator can easily be seen to be related to European. It is Kureita, which is actually pronounced “Creataa”. The word also means Architect, Designer and Maker. The word “Create” in Japanese is Tsukuru. Hmmm…that doesn’t seem to relate to anything, does it? It does, if you are a little familiar with ancient languages. The word “Ur” means Source and Origin across many ancient tongues. In German it still means “Source” to this day. This is why, in the Bible, Abraham is said to have come from “Ur”, which is supposedly the oldest city of Mesopotamia. It is for this reason, that I pay special attention to the “Ur” sound when I see at, as in the Japanese Tsuk-Ur-u, source. In English, “to source” means the same thing as “to create”. Just like some Aborigenes of Australia who claim that Uluru (Ul-Ur-U) or Ayers Rock was made by “creator beings” at the time the “first things were created”.

The word “Maker” in Japanese, by the way, is Meka. Are “Meka” and “Kureita” words borrowed from English or are they ancient Japanese? I don’t know, I haven’t looked into it. But Taka-Maha-ra  and Tsuk-ur-u are certainly not modern “borrowed words”.

So we’ve found commonality between Japanese, German, Hebrew, English, Hindi, Arabic and Maori. It only took 15 minutes and one single word, by an amateur as myself, to show hints of commonality between these languages.

Of the languages that I looked up, only Hungarian didn’t match the Maha pattern. But it fits another pattern! The Hungarian word for Creator is Alkoto. Can you see it? Maybe you can see it if I separate the letters: Al-Kot-o. If you are familiar with European and ancient European languages, you know that the word Kot and Koto mean God and the word Al refers to “All” (and also outer space, Universe in some languages). The Hungarian word for Creator is therefore All-God, Alkoto. There is a popular cliche among linguists, that Hungarian is a “language isolate”, of “mysterious” origin, not related to any other language. But is it really?

While looking up these words, I came across another oddity: The word Maca means “to give” in both Nahuatl (ancient Aztec) and Hawaiian. What could the people of ancient Mexico and Polynesians possibly have in common? Nothing, if you believe modern Academia, which falsely claims that there has been no trans-oceanic contact between the peoples in thousands of years. Of course, “to give” is not that far away from “to make”. The reason you make, is so that you can give.

In 1866, the Linguistic Society of Paris prohibited that any papers on the common origin of all languages be published. From there, the prohibition extended to other countries and the topic has been actively derided  in “Academia” ever since. I have read linguists echo this, telling me that it’s “prohibited” to make word-list comparisons, because there will always be a couple of words that cultures borrowed from each other. They say that these lists create the false impression that the languages are somehow related. But what if all words of a disparate language can be shown to be related to one specific other language? Or shown to be related to several other languages? I believe that can fairly easily be shown and I do so in my upcoming two books.

And why prohibit inquiry? Who do they think they are? Why is the idea over the common origin of languages “prohibited”?

The short answer: In the middle ages, the Catholic Church had power over most of Europe. It exercised this power in violent oppression. The even more violent backlash against this, were the Revolutions (foremost the French Revolution), which unseated the power of the Roman Catholics and replaced it with rule by atheists. The “age of enlightenment”, as it was called, rejected anything religious and built the secular institutions we call “modern Academia”. Their goal was to put an end to superstition. In 1866, the people in charge of education were fiercely anti-religious.

The idea that all languages have a common origin came from Religion. This is why it was suppressed and still is to this day. Anything that came from Religion was suppressed, regardless of whether it was true or not. And so the world went from an age of religious intolerance to our current age of atheist intolerance. We went from a state of ignorance to a different state of ignorance.

But all languages do originate from one original language and I believe that can be proven.

To make this a little more compelling, let’s do the same with another word. Let’s take the word Market, as in Marketplace or Mart. I just now chose this word randomly (creator and maker were not chosen randomly, they are the subject of my book). I then, also randomly and without forethought look up Market in a Basque Dictionary. According to linguists, Euskara (the Basque Language) is another one of these mysterious “language isolates” and relates to no other languages.

I found that the word for market is Azoka. I instantly understood the word and would have understood it without translation, because I know the Arabic word for marketplace, which is Souk. Here’s a little hint for this type of research: If you remove the first or the first two letters as well as the last letter, you often get the right word. In that case Azoka would be Zok, which is the sound Souk, which is the Arabic word for Market. Why remove the first letter? Because someone will say “That’s a souk” and the person will understand “That’s asok”. That’s how a “new” language is born.

This is the first word I have looked up in the Basque language in many years. Back then, I looked up a few words for my books on Atlantis. I thought “Hmmm, that’s interesting. Basque doesn’t sound that mysterious to me!  Inspired by that, I looked up a Basque-Estonian dictionary, because both Basque and Estonian are claimed to be “language isolates with no relation to other languages”. After all, Azoka is likely to be taken from Arabic because the Arabs occupied Spain more than a thousand years ago. If we look more deeply, we’ll probably find hundreds more Arabic words in the Euskara language.

The very first word I find in the dictionary list is the basque word Abendu, which in Estonian, is Detsember. That’s nice, I understand both words right off the bat! Detsember is obviously the borrowed word December. And since I know German, I know the word Abend, which means Evening. “But evening isn’t the same as December!” one might object. But a thousand years ago, the word Abend did not only mean evening, it also meant “late” or “the last part”, according to the Dictionary of Ancient German. And December is indeed the late part of the year.

The first three words I randomly looked up in Basque, I understand without translation. How is that possible? Is the Basque language really such a mysterious one? Or is what I was taught in school about linguistics, total and complete nonsense?

My curiosity is now piqued. Is Basque really that easy and so very non-mysterious? I scroll down to the very last word under “A” and find the word azukre, translated to the Estonian word suhkur. Again, I understand the word without even translating it! Removing the a, I get zukre, which is obviously related to the German Zucker or the English Sugar. Now let me go see if I was right, I’ll be right back.

Yes, I was right. It is sugar. The first 4 words of Basque I have looked at and I knew them all. How is it possible that I know a language that I’ve never learned? I’ll do one more. I am now going to look for a word that I don’t immediately understand.

I scroll up a little and pick the word Axola. I have no idea what it means. In Estonian its mure or hool. I don’t know those words either. In such cases, before looking the word up, I usually play around with it in my mind. Axola…let’s remove the “a”, then its Xola. Xola could be Ksola or simply Sola. Still no answers. I type it into an online translator and find that it means Care. I also find that in tribal tongues of southern Africa, it means Peace. Any relation? Maybe. Maybe not. After Care comes Peace. But that’s not close enough. Then I suddenly remember similar sounding words in Nahuatl (Aztec, ancient Mexican). The more you know, the more you get to know. I look them up and find that words beginning with Axi relate to care, caretaking or hospitality. For example axihuayan is the word for lodging or hotel.. Axiltia means to accompany or protect. Who would have thought to find any relation between an almost extinct language of northern Spain and another near extinct language of Mexico?

I’ve drifted so far off path, I almost forgot we were talking about MarketAzoka in Basque and Souk in Arabic.

Interestingly, ancient Arabic has the word Markaat, which refers to “a place that people sleep”. What does that have to do with “Market”, which is the opposite of people sleeping? For that, you’d have to know the ancient origin of the word. In ancient Germanic languages the word Markt did not refer to a Market but merely a dwelling place or a place were people stayed and rested on trips. Later, Markt referred simply to a town. This is why many town names in Germany begin with “Markt”.

It is strange that the ancient Arabic word Markaat and the ancient German Markt are related. This ancient meaning can also be gleaned in other languages. For example in Afrikaans, which is an old variant of Dutch, Samerkaat means togetherness or people together. In Uzbekistan there is a city called Samarkand, previously Markanda. Sa-Mark-and. What does it mean? According to the Etymology Dictionary, it means town, which is exactly what Markt means in German. Markanda is a Sanskrit word and also ancient Persian, where it means “place” or “area”. From Markanda derives the word Khand or Kanda a prefix for many villages in India and Nepal, which is possibly related to the ancient English word for “coastal Area”: Kent. The word for town in Japanese, by the way, is Machi.

There, I did it again. With a randomly chosen word, I connected Arabic, German, Afrikaans, Uzbek and Japanese.

If any random word can that easily be traced in sound and meaning across many distinct cultures, it points to a common origin or at the very least, a more extensive migration of people than commonly assumed.

You can see I enjoy this and could go on all day, but I’ll stop here. If you found this article interesting, please share it.

A New Way of Being

“We all have memories of times when we felt particularly alive, when the world seemed fresh and promising, like a flower garden on a bright spring morning. Whatever the circumstances leading to such moments, there is suddenly a sensation of acute vitality supported by the knowledge that all elements are in absolute harmony. The air pulses with life. Our bodies feel healthy and energetic, our minds clear and confident. There is a lucent quality to perception. Every feature of the environment pleases the senses: colors are vivid, sounds melodious, and odors fragrant. All aspects of the experience blend perfectly and there is a vibrant quality to everything; the usual border between inner and outer space becomes fluid. Nothing is fixed and we feel spacious and open. We act with perfect ease and appropriateness.

The essence of this experience is balance, and its offshoot is a deep feeling of nurturance and refreshment which extends far beyond the feeling we would call ‘happiness’. … Through relaxation we can discover a new way of being, a perspective that is open and that delights in the integration of body, mind, senses, feelings and environment. We learn to appreciate the completely wholesome quality of living experience. The whole body becomes refreshed, as if showered within by pure spring water. Not only the physical body quickens, but the mind and all of the senses are invigorated as well; sense impressions and thoughts come to life. A quality of relaxation informs every activity, even walking or eating. Our lives function smoothly, and we become healthy and balanced.

The key to both our internal integration and a balanced relationship with the world lies within our feelings and sensations. We can nurture and heal both our bodies and minds by touching our feelings deeply and expanding the flowing rhythms they bring to us, for they are linked to the vitality of the universe itself. Through relaxation we awaken feelings which then expand and accumulate until we slowly become aware of a deep interpenetrating field of energy inside our body and beyond it. This energy can stimulate itself internally to sustain and nurture us in our daily lives, recycling sensation so we become sensitive and strong, and our sensations rich and powerful.”

Can conscious intention change the weather?

For the last four years, I have gone to play Tennis every Monday and Friday morning. There are no indoor courts, so whenever it rains, Tennis gets cancelled. Especially in winter, there is a lot of rain and Tennis is sometimes rained out several weeks in a row.

I used to take this for granted, as if there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. Even though I have been teaching Reality Creation for more than 30 years, it didn’t occur to me that I might create another reality. Can you imagine that? I have been teaching it for decades and forgot to apply it. It was so beyond imagination for me that I didn’t even consider it. Instead, attention was fixated on a weather app. The weather app would determine my Monday and Friday. I wouldn’t determine my own reality, an app would. A meteorologist would.

I mean, let’s stay realistic, right? I couldn’t be so megalomaniac to think that I could influence the weather! That’s insane! Who do I think I am?

Last fall/autumn, Tennis cancellations started up again and it frustrated me. I spend a lot of time on my laptop in coaching, and going outdoors for Tennis was my favorite way to balance excessive screen-time. I came across an article about indigenous people doing “rain ceremony” to influence the weather. That’s when it occurred to me: All people, across the world, have done prayers and rituals to change the weather. It’s a normal part of human history. They have always danced, prayed and sang for rain or sun to help their farming.

Why haven’t I tried this? Don’t I teach reality creation?

But my mind responded: Isn’t it selfish to use it on something as mundane as Tennis? Am I using up hard-earned Karma points? Shouldn’t I use my manifesting power to heal the sick? Do I have a limited number of allotted manifestations I can use per year? You see, even the reality-creation-coach can have a mind full of nonsense-doubts.

The Universe, Source, the Angels, God, Spirit, Higher Self or whatever you wish to call the creative and responsive field, want human beings to rely on their spiritual power and are more than eager to manifest.

I remember the first time I used this. It was a Monday morning and my app was predicting rain. The organizer wanted to call it off, but I texted that “it will clear up”, with confidence and in defiance of the stupid weather app. Everyone showed up. After only 30 minutes of play, dark clouds appeared. Wind started blowing. One said “Yeah, they predicted this. This looks bad. Time to pack it up”. And then it started showering down hard. With full might of intention, I said “No. I would like it to clear up. I would like it to be perfectly clear. The sun is shining. By the power of the highest Source of all Universes, I intend for clear sky. The sun is now shining. Thank you”. Or something like that. It was with strongest, most sincere intent, done like there was no other option. What then happened, I have never seen before. The group of tennis players, which were 11 people except me, were already leaving the courts because it had started to pour. While they were leaving and before they had reached the club house to dry off, the rain abruptly stopped and sun emerged brightly through the clouds. Under my breathe I whispered “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you”. The group was confused. They saw me. I hadn’t left the court. They had all left, I had stayed. Reality Creation is to also to physically embody ones intention. Had I returned to the club house, it would have given the message that I don’t believe. The group seemed confused. They all return to the courts and started playing again.

I talked about this miraculous occurrence for weeks. The rain stopped abruptly, as if someone had switched off a faucet. It usually doesn’t stop like that. Normal rain trickles out. The clouds gradually lift, but in this case, the dark clouds were nowhere to be seen. They had just been there a few seconds ago, where were they now?

But here’s the even more amazing part: For the rest of fall and winter it did not rain again on either Monday or Friday morning. When it rained, it always rained in the afternoon or the mornings of other days. It was the first time in 5 years that I could consistently play twice a week. I was very hyped up about this. Sometimes the app would predict rain the next morning and I’d send out an intention and the next morning when I woke up, the app would show all sunshine. I did the “intending while it started raining” thing on two other occassions and it worked in both.

Luck has nothing to do with it. In normal winters, Tennis would be rained out on average ten times. But that very special last winter, it was zero times. Then spring came and it got to the point where I needed a little break from Tennis. So I decided that I don’t mind if it rained. I preferred if the weather went back to random.  And promptly, the next session was rained out and I got some rest.

While writing this, I realize how outrageous it sounds. As humans we sometimes forget the extent of our influence. We’re oblivious to the possibilities and too easily give in to circumstance. Ask yourself: Is there REALLY “nothing I can do” about my set of circumstances? Or is it a matter of expressing new, sincere intentions?

You might think that it’s an “incredible power” that I have or that one person shouldn’t have that much power. But it’s not really me doing it. As I explain in my books, I intend, but something higher than the self manifests. Ego has nothing to with it and the manifesting is so powerful, precisely because I am humble enough to know its not “me” who is the hero of the story. And if nobody else is intending for any weather, it’s easy because there are no other intentions opposing yours. In Business, for instance, it might not be that smooth because there are many intentions at play. But who else in town is intending about the weather? I was probably the only person doing so with any sort of sincerity in the wider area. Also, the intention is wonderfully innocent. All the kid wants, is to play a little tennis. If you were this super-powerful being, floating above earth, and you heard one of those small humans down there wish for nothing more than a little bit of sunshine so he could play, wouldn’t you be just delighted to deliver it to him? That’s all he wants? Bless his heart! I’ll give it to him!
