How to use the Upscaling Method to quit porn addiction

I recently published a book called “The Upscaling Method”. Here’s an example of how to use it to quit or reduce porn addiction.

A porn-addict asks how they can quit watching porn.

Fred: If you’re going to watch porn, at least watch ethical porn. Amateur-porn is more probably better vibe than professional porn. Look for porn without tattooed artists as tattoos in the industry are often (not always) a sign of trafficked and exploited slaves. Look for cleaner porn.

Student: OK.

A week later.

Fred: If you’re going to masturbate, at least train your imagination in the process. Is it possible to replace porn with sex-visualization? This gives you more creative power and you don’t have to resonate with the seedy underworld around porn.

Student: I’ll try.

A week later.

Fred: How’s it going?

Student: I’m fantasizing. I like it. I used to do that as a teenager. It feels better.

Fred: If you’re going to be addicted to sex, you might at least go for real partners, real people. Can you quit masturbating for a while and find release in the dating scene?

Student: OK.

5 months later.

Fred: If you’re going to be addicted to sex, you might at least have sex with the person you love. Mixing with too many strangers depletes energies and creates cords or spiritual bonds that you’d probably rather not have.

Student: OK.

5 months later.

Fred: Are you in a relationship?

Student: Yes.

Fred: How is it?

Student: Better than porn, better than dating. There’s real intimacy.

Etc.

Slow and steady improvement is usually more lasting than quick and radical improvement.
