To rely on the divine power within you instead of on politicians, the economy, schools, teachers, clerics, doctors, news media, corporations or the system is what Reality Creation is really about. I think most people – even those familiar with my teachings – would be shocked if they knew how much power they have.
Consider some ancient Reality-Creation-Coaching, from the Bible, Book of Mark, Chapter 4, verses 35 to 41.
35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” 36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”
39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. 40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”
The most amazing part of this verse is this: Jesus was expecting his students to be able to stop the storm.
It’s mind-boggling how most “Christian” Churches, teach the exact opposite of this. They teach that you cannot stop the storm, only God can stop it. But Jesus taught, that humans are equipped to do it. He expected it of them and got frustrated when they wouldn’t exercise their powers. I’ve quoted the next verse a few months ago, but I’d like to quote it again. In John 14:12 we read:
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do”
If I’d teach this in Church, I’d be kicked out of most of Churches for being a heretic. That’s how corrupted “Religion” is.
Yes, believe it or not, the Bible verse, quoting Jesus, says that YOU can do it. And that is my experience too. YOU are equipped with powers, by birth. You have more than you know. More than you use.
While a storm was raging, he was so relaxed that he lie sleeping on a pillow. His students ask:
“Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?“. This is classic victim-mentality, casting blame and responsibility on someone else instead of taking charge of a reality. They are waiting for someone else to fix what they themselves are equipped and able to fix. Variations of not taking responsibility:
“Doesn’t the Government care about us?”
“Doesn’t God care about me?”
“Don’t you care about me?”
While there are many people and beings who do actually care (but there are also plenty that don’t care), the thought “don’t you care?” not only separates you from their love and but also from your own power.
Jesus has spent a lot of time trying to teach them. He is annoyed that they still don’t get it: “Why are you so fearful? How it is that you have no faith?”
Having been a success-coach for over 30 years, this verse resonates with me. I also wonder “How is it that you have no faith?” and “Why are you so fearful?” I sometimes think: How many more books, audios, videos and seminars will I have to give for people to GET IT?
Fortunately, many students do GET IT. I received this a week ago:
That brings a smile to my face and is the reason I continue the work I do. Some just GET IT. And they lived abundantly ever after. You are expected to stop the storm.
Did this student achieve his success instantly or overnight? No. We’ve been coaching over the last three years, through struggle and difficulty. A lot of new-agers have this idea about “instant manifestation”. That idea is a limitation, believe it or not. Expecting instant results opens the door to doubt and unbelief. Some, if they don’t get results at once, they abandon their vision. If you can drop your need for instant results, you can get quick results. In previous books, I’ve given the example of a seed. Stop digging up the seed to see if it’s growing. Put the seed in fertile soil and let it grow.
Meditate on Mark Chapter 37 verse 35 to 41 until you GET IT.
Or, at the very least, consider this: Do I, perhaps, maybe, possibly have more power and ability than I know? Am I settling for less than I am capable of? Is more possible? Even if it takes some time, can I start believing in an even better life? And even better than that? Can you take responsibility for the divine power given to YOU?
