Converting a Garage into a Wellness Lounge

I converted my Garage into a Gym and Wellness Lounge in 7 days. For anyone who wants to do similar, these were my exact steps:

Day 1: Throw away Junk, Vacuum Clean, Wipe Dust, Pressure Wash Floor. Move gardening equipment, tools and stuff to other storage spaces.

Day 2: Remove old fixtures, fill holes with Spackle, Paint Walls White.

Day 3: Sealing places where bugs could enter. Change lighting fixtures to something warmer.

Day 4: Lay out square, interlocked pure rubber floor (no EVA, no Polyester, low-VOC, low-odor rubber). Move Gym Rack, dumbbells, half ball, weight bench and other equipment to Garage.

Day 5: Stack one of the walls with Himalayan Salt tiles. Install fan to upper corner.

Day 6: Acquire pure Rubber Cold Plunge Tub that can also take hot water, create dedicated space with mat, towel-hanger and ice-maker. Stock Epsom Salt and Baking Soda at bath area. Bring in lounge chairs. Equip space with wellness devices:

Acupressure Mat
Infrared Sauna Blanket
Audiovisual Brain Entrainment Device,
Neurofeedback Headband.

(I don’t endorse any of these, they’re just nice toys to have around in a wellness area)

Day 7: Create large vision-board / goals-poster to hang up on wall. Create corner dedicated to prayer and meditation.

At a later date I might bring in a Hyperbaric Chamber and sound system.

And that’s all there was too it. Adjust according to budget and preferences.
