Bio-circuits and the Magnetic Self

Biocircuits were first written about in the 1947 book “Co-operative Healing” by L.E. Eeman.

“When different parts of one human body, or similar parts of different human bodies are connected, by means of electrical conductors, such as insulated copper wires, these bodies behave as though – using an electromagnetic analogy – they were bi-polar.

They behave in this fashion along three axis: head to feet, right side to left and back to front; and their detailed bi-polarities follow the known nervous tracts. However, for the purpose of argument and experimentation, and unless otherwise mentioned, only the Head and the base of the Spine, and the Right and Left hands will be considered, and they will be referred to as H, S, R and L throughout this book.

“This body behavior, which suggests bi-polarity is automatic in both sexes, in health and in disease, and it manifests in the absence of artificial energy and not only independently of suggestion but even against it.

“Continuing the use of electromagnetic analogy, the polar opposition shown experimentally to exist between H, S, R and L has led to the adoption of a convention that Head and Right Hand are positive and Spine and Left Hand are negative in all born right-handers of both sexes”.

“Note that the positive Head screen of subject A is connected to the negative Left Hand of subject B. The negative spine screen of subject A is connected to the positive Right Hand of subject B and vice-versa. Feet are crossed to prevent leakage of vitality.

Any arrangement which connects polar opposites of one of of different bodies by means of electrical conductors is referred to as a ‘relaxation circuit’ and any arrangement which connects polar similars is a ‘tension circuit’.

“The relaxation circuit automatically promotes relaxation of the voluntary muscles and stimulates functional activity. It fosters sleep, recovery from fatigue and disease, capacity for work and health in general. The tension circuit reverses these effects more or less. Both circuits affect not only organic but also mental health”.

The book describes experiments and their results, including testimonials of Eeman’s patients. When I first read about Biocircuits back in the 1990s, I found the idea interesting but not important enough to pursue. But experimentation for my 2022 book “The Electromagnetic Self”, renewed my interest in the topic.

When I hold hands with my spouse, it’s my right hand holding her left or my left hand holding her right. If Eeman is correct, this would cause a “relaxation circuit” due to opposite poles connecting. But sometimes, especially while falling asleep, I find my right hand holding my wife’s right hand, for example if she’s behind me and putting her right arm around me. After a few minutes of this, I let go of her right hand, because it feels slightly unpleasant. I’ve felt this long before I knew about biocircuits. Now I know why it feels that way.

Eeman and other researchers use copper screens to place behind the back and head and copper rods connected to wires held in the hands.

But if you are in fact electromagnetic, you are so even without conductors such as copper. The definition of the word “circuit” is simply a pathway for electric energy to flow. Thus, your arms, hands and nerves are just as much circuits as the copper wires.

Place your right hand on someone’s lower back and your left hand on their head. Hold that position for a while. Then switch it around. The difference may be subtle, hardly noticeable until after some time.

This doesn’t mean I’m going to be paying attention where I put my hands. That’s no fun. Most things are done correctly by intuition or instinct and nature knows better than mind which “energies” are required at which time and place. For instance, based on what was said here, some might think I wouldn’t place my right hand on someone’s head during a healing prayer – but I do. And it works.

Earlier examples of what Eaman discovered can be found in ancient Chinese medicine. Shiatsu and Jin Shin Jyutsu define different points of the body as magnetic polars. Some treatments are based on holding two points of a patients body to create an energy flow between them. Biocircuits have a basis in ancient medicine.

There are mountains of positive testimonies on the eeman biocircuit but I won’t recount them here, you can look them up yourself if the topic interests you. According to Eeman:

‘The relaxation circuit almost invariably produces a progressive sense of muscular relaxation, warmth, well-being and drowsiness, often culminating in sleep, slower and stronger pulse, slower and fuller respiration, with more complete deflation, progressively longer pauses between deflations and inflations, and a lowering of the pitch of the voice.’

For the record, I have never tried biocircuits. Why? I don’t need to because I understand the principles and because I am already deeply relaxed and healthy. But there is value in understanding how your divinely created electromagnetic self works.

Another revelation: I probably wouldn’t form a closed circuit with another person, even though many people have done this and report great results. Why not?

For the same reason I prefer monogamy.

For the same reason I rarely shake hands or hug. A fist bump is enough.

I don’t like mixing energies with others. But that’s just me and my personal preference and no recommendation to anyone else.

Thus, if I were to use biocircuits, I’d use the solo ones:

But even without the pads and wires, you can experience a relaxation circuit right now: Put your right hand to your lower back and your left hand behind your head. That’s a relaxation circuit. Switch around. That’s a tension circuit. Most people won’t feel the difference, but if you stay that way longer, you’ll notice. I once did the experiment while lying at the beach. I went into a relaxation circuit posture and soon fell into a pleasant sleep. I went into a tension circuit posture and got uncomfortable after about five minutes.

Clasp your hands together. That’s a relaxation circuit. Or put just your fingers together, the way some politicians do. There’s much more to say on this, but it’s better if you experiment for yourself.
