Are there drugs that suppress free-will?

As a believer in free-will I’m also interested in its attempted suppression.

According to this 30 min. documentary, one of the free-will curbing drugs is called Scopolamine, a plant-based dust that is blown into a victims face. Criminals use it to get people to empty their bank accounts, hand over their jewellery and worse.

Surprising: Outsiders don’t notice the person is drugged. People under the influence act normal with the exception that they do whatever they are told.

The documentary shows that this plant grows all over Columbia and can be casually accessed by anyone. Similar plants are found across the world.

I am reminded of old Disney cartoons where a villain blows “witches dust” into a victims face. The victim comes under the spell and does the witches bidding. Such cartoons are based on much older legends. As a child I thought this was fiction. Apparently not!

What if this stuff got into the hands of a Government? Well it has. It’s been used in the infamous #MKUltra experiments that attempted to mind control, brainwash and remote control people. And what if they sprayed it from airplanes to keep people docile?

The documentary makes it look like there is no defense against this type of thing, but a closer look reveals:

There are LEVELS of unconsciousness. Some victims can’t remember what they did while they were drugged. They may have been brutally beaten but have no recollection and wonder the next day why they are wounded.

But some can remember what they did. This is a slightly higher consciousness. They remember, but at the time they couldn’t help but do it.

And some actively resist going along. The drug doesn’t work on them.

As with anything, it’s a matter of consciousness-levels. I suspect that free-will can only be suppressed if you have already been suppressing it yourself. I suspect you can’t be victimized unless you’re already in a weakened state. You can’t be easily victimized if you keep practicing your free-will.
