Bliss 1: The joy of embracing, releasing and shifting

The joy of releasing and embracingThis 10-part article series will share deeper background information on the exquisitely useful Reality Creation Supercourse, but it will also benefit all readers who do not yet own the Course.

Part 1, “The Bliss Course” begins with a technique called “Releasing and Embracing” (Audios 1-2). This technique alone is enough to pleasantly transform the inconveniences and stressors of daily life into calm. The article “Own it before you release it” explains the principles behind this sweet relief. Whenever you are feeling confused, overwhelmed, bored, uncertain, fearful, angry or overloaded, simply pop in this Audio, identify all of your stressors, embrace them and release them. As you deliberately acknowledge all these thoughts, welcome them and recognize “they are not me!” and then deliberately let go of these thoughts (yes, the letting go must be deliberate), they stop forcing themselves into your field of awareness. Contrary to popular opinion, it is never the inconveniences of daily life that are bothersome. They are just “how life is”, they will come up for anyone. That is the nature of earths fairly low frequency vibration. Last week I had an over-full schedule. In addition to that I tore a muscle during sports that left me with excruciating pain every time I took a breathe. In addition to that I was sick of the nasty cold and wet weather that was slapping around my face as I ran errands that didnt much matter to me. And as if that weren’t enough I got a mind-bogglingly high tax-payment request. What to do about it all? Feeling down and out I popped in my own “Releasing and Embracing” audio and simply mind-swept it all, cleared it all out. The subsequent relief led to a state of heightened clarity and productivity. I also found a most soothing cool and hot muscle-healing liquid that I applied to the torn muscle and it healed within a day and a half. I dissolved it all – including being fed up with the weather. Rather than a nuisance, the snowy weather then became a pleasurable piece of beauty, like in some kind of silent-night-holy-night ad.

The next part of the Bliss Course is called “Dissolving and Shifting” (Audio 3) and takes the very same idea a little further. Here, not only are resistant thoughts embraced and released but you learn to shift the focal point of your attention to the thoughts and ideas you’d prefer to hold. All those silly thoughts on bad weather, bad tax forms, pains and aches are not “really me”. They are surface-thoughts of the Ego. Behind that, at a deeper and more enlightened layer of consciousness are the “really me” thoughts. It is through this process that you begin accessing those thoughts more easily. If you do not own the Supercourse, I recommend trying the following: Sit down, close your eyes, view your stream of thoughts and label each thought either “me” or “not me” according to preference. Sorting your thoughts in this way can be peculiarly relieving.

To users of the Supercourse I’d recommend using the “Releasing and Embracing” audio most often but now and then throwing in the “Dissolving and Shifting” audio to balance out the “not me” stuff and move into the pleasantries of self-chosen, deeper-layered thinking and feeling.

In the next part of this series we will examine audios 4 & 5 of the “Bliss Course” part of the Supercourse
